Everytime I see this Opening Ceremony, I'm amazed by everything... The lights, the signers, the dancers, the musics, the ideas, everything is fuckin perfect And of courses theses amazing holograms like never seen before... God, THIS is an opening ceremony, learn from this kids !!!

2023 and this was still the peak. Hope they bring back projected hologram technology.

2024 opening cleared 2023 in every way. no need for ps2 holographics. from countdown to performances to player introductions while the performance is still ongoing to players walkouts to the stage to ending teaser and finally straight into drafts. insane hype without downtime.

@@Valorios I agree I liked the more traditional 2024 one too. The songs slapped too and even most Chinese and Koreans agreed that the live performance was great, the music video let the worlds song down this year tho. Imo 2024 was the best and 2019 second with 2017 being third bc of the dragon not being there irl and it being in a stadium gave it horrible sound.

@@eliteiel9747 Yeah the worlds MV definitely hurt the song a lot, but it really grew on me over time. I think in terms of production, I'd probably still rate this one above 2024, and then ofc 2017 being third. Had Chrissy been a bit more experienced then, and the stadium been suited for that kind of performance, 2017 really could've been the best year performance wise.

just imagine being there for this, ugh i wish i would have gotten tickets... 2020 was so bad i hope they redeem themselves for 2021, also hope its somewhere close to usa. definitely going if covid is gone

I think the sanitary conditions (covid) made this 2020 opening ceremony a lot worse than last year, iI think they had to change their plans because of that, but imo, the 2020 opening ceremony was still decent considering every problems they had, they could have done nothing!

2021 will also be in China, because of covid, they couldn't do what they expected to do, so they planned to do 2021 Worlds in China again, then in USA in 2022.

@@NelshareYT Yeah, I get that. COVID effected everything really badly and it showed. I just hope they redeem themselves next year is all but I totally get that there were lots of restrictions that impacted everything. Glad to hear that it will be in the USA in the coming years, for sure gonna go.
