In this weeks video I go buy a new side by side! I've went on a couple sxs trips with my friend Ryan and after riding in his, I just had to get one of my own. I've been waiting for the 2019 Yamaha YXZ1000R in Graphite Gray with a 5 speed transmission to be released. It was suppose to be out in February 2019 but Yamaha held out and didn't release their newest UTV till mid March 2019. Once I heard it was being delivered after all these months, I jumped on the opportunity to buy one of the first graphite gray 5 speed manuals. It showed up off the truck on a Wednesday, signed papers on Thursday and took it home on Friday!
Hopefully you guys are excited for some new side by side content. I'll be making lots of videos of riding, installs and tutorials. So please make sure to subscribe to the channel so you can follow the progression of my new 2019 Yamaha YXZ1000R. This Yamaha UTV is probably the most fun to drive because of it's 5 speed sequential transmission. They make it in a sport shift, which are paddle shifts; but I think having the actual clutch pedal adds so much more excitement to the experience of driving a sport side by side. I can't wait to take out this awesome Yamaha UTV! I'll be releasing a first ride video of this Yamaha sxs in the coming weeks, so stay tuned!

So cool man. I can feel the excitement and even though ive never owned a side by side, i have bought a handful of new dirt bikes and i know the feeling of that new new that youve just been waiting and dreaming about. I know this video is like 4 years old but im stoked you recorded it to share with us. How stoked! The saleman was a super chill "dude" aswell. I have no room for a sxs right now but someday i hope to get a yxz for myself. Ill be ripping my dirt bikes either way, the oregon coast is my dream bro. Coos bays, winchester bay, dune city, and even sand lake have some awesome dunes. Ive also been up to browns camp in the Tillamook Forrest for some trail riding and it was epic. Again, thanks for sharing that experience with us. It truly made me feel like i was right there with you. 🎉🎉 🤠

Had no idea they had these things in manual till a guy on ig said something. Had to see for myself by checking this video out. Great looking machine and I wish it more of a maverick look on the roof area. I like round look over the square type look. The front looks mean! Beautiful face and rear.

Dude! Love your channel! This video has me hyped! I pick up a super low hour/low mileage black and red 2017 SS/SE on Tuesday (one day from now!) that I got a killer deal on! I live in AR, where most of riding is trails technical and non so I’ve been nervous about the YXZ. But tbh, based on the research I’ve done, it’s hard to find a tougher, more reliable machine. And usually when people complain of the YXZ on trails, it’s because they’re too lazy to want to shift. ;) haha. Btw, thanks for the great content! You certainly have a new subscriber in me!

Yea the 2019 comes with a 24% reduced 1st gear, which helps a ton compared to earlier years. With that and a heavy flywheel, it's pretty close to the same as a regear

No 6 speed. Just 5

Nope. The YXZ is the only sxs that is fully manual with an actual foot clutch, similar to a car. They also come in sport shift, which doesnt use a foot clutch. You just shift with a paddle shifter, similar to the Honda Talon.
