In these series of videos you will learn how to calculate the induced force caused by a permanent magnet in a material with non-linear BH curve (steel). How to define boundaries, and excitation and analysis. How to measure and show the results.

Thanks,Kamyar,I learned a lots of skills from your video, could you please make a tutorial which shows how to simulate a transformer (power transformer ,one phase or three phases, the core used is lamination) thanks alot.

Dear Kamyar, thanks for this nice tutorial. Is it possible to create a coherent conduction path through several materials in magnetic transient solution type?

Hi Kamyar thanks for the useful videos, helped me a lot. I have some problems. i want to model a coil with 950 turns and the current is 0.3 A , should i multiply these numbers and give 285 A as coil excitation? the other problem is the amount of force generated by coil. i have a part that must attract by the coil like yours in this video, based on formula F=mu.A.(N.I)^2/2g^2 force on that part is 250 N but in maxwell when the excitation is 285 A, force is about 0.03 N. Where the huge difference comes from?

Hi Kamyar, thank you very much for your video. I have a 3d wireless power transfer system model. I'd like to apply a high frequency current in the primary coil and measure the induced voltage in the secondary coil. which solution type is more appropriate and how to do it?

+Ahmed Mohamed depends if it is very high frequency use HFSS instead. If it relatively high frequency you can still rely on maxwell. Transient is the most trusted.

Thank you Kamyar for your answer. My operating frequency is 40 kHz. Also, I'd like to ask if there is a way to get the system parameters (self and mutual inductance and coupling factor) by the transient solution?. Since I noticed that I can not add a matrix in this solution.

Hello Kamyar. Thanks a lot for these awesome videos. I have a question: I am simulating a semiconductor crystal with metal electrodes and would like to simulate the electric field lines inside the crystal. I also want to simulate the electrostatic lines inside the crystal. How can I do that?

+Abdulsalam Alhawsawi same way but you need to have the material property of the. Rural well defined.

Hello Kamyar. Thanks a lot for the quick response. Should I assign excitation to all the metal electrodes I have in the design or only to the semiconductor crystal? I did something similar to what you did, where I created a section and assigned a 1000 V to that section. I analyzed the results but could not get a field inside the crystal. Not sure what am doing wrong

Use RMexprt for motors and generators. In there it's very straightforward
