This has been a GREAT message. I worked out of the home for 38 years and just retired last year at age 55. My husband and I never had children. I think I am the most content that I have ever been, I LOVE being at home and being a housewife full time now and taking care of my hubby!

You really have a beautiful way spreading a meaningful message and sharing Godly wisdom. I realize and finally accepted I didn't/don't have godly older women ministering to me as bring brought up in biblical womanhood. You've taught me so much, as I am a young wife and mother of (almost) 3 ♥Thank you Heidi

Being a housewife is the best job I've ever had! When I used to work, I used to leave the house wishing I could just stay and didn't have to leave bc I was so content being home! I'm sure I'll have to work again in a couple of years but enjoying it right now! And trying to equip myself with the Word so I'm prepared for when I do have to go back out into the world.

Over 13 years ago, I deeply felt called to be at home. I didn't feel that I had the right to do so, since my husband and I do not have children (What would society think, after all?) But thankfully, my husband agreed, and I cannot be more grateful for how our life and marriage have unfolded. I became very frugal, a good cook, have slowly beautified our modest home and have been able to dedicate a lot of time to church work. Since 2020, my husband chose to work at home full-time, which has been an even sweeter blessing. These days, I find myself in the kitchen most of the time preparing 3 meals a day for us, but I honestly wouldn't trade this time together for anything. The world may say that I've limited my life purpose....or this work is so insignificant, etc. But when I look back and see the person I was verses the woman who I'm becoming over these years, I know this is where God is doing his best work on me!! 💕🏡

As I have aged, I am at home a lot more and I am content! The world has grown more evil and I feel protected at home and it helps not getting tempted too much because I don’t have the television on all day. I like to keep inspirational music playing during the day while I am at home or even if I leave to run errands. I do like to go to the thrift stores weekly. 😇 I love this saying I found a few years ago: A thorough knowledge of the Bible is worth more than a college education. (Theodore Roosevelt)

You challenge, challenge and challenge again...thank you! Having been told a worthy life is a working life I have juggled working and mothering. My home became a chore. I retired early 5 years ago and moved to a beautiful home in a small community and covid hit. It taught me that I love my home, I love ironing of all things! Blessing my family's clothes, having them look smart and thanking God for water, electricity, washing machine, iron...! When people come to our home we re-see it again through their eyes...what a blessing! God has given us the most amazing 300 year old home to share, to offer hospitality and friendship. I have started working again, in my community caring for elderly neighbours...but I never take on so much that I loose sight of my home. You have reminded me that I have many blessings to count...even on those days where I'm tired or emotionally frayed from my work...I have a nest to come home to which (since my husband became a follower of Jesus 2 weeks ago - praise the Lord) is now a completely Christian home. I love the direct and loving guidance and the prompts to remember what we have, why and how to wind back from this world and count our blessings. Bless you, lots of love xx

Such a good video I love being a stay-at-home mom and I have been for 17 years now my husband is not a Christian my children aren't Christians I've been a Christian for 17 years and because money is getting a little tight my husband is wanting me to go out and work and it's just not what I want to do I know that my calling is to be home to take care of my home and I know my kids are older and 19, 16 and 12 but I love taking care of the home and I've just been praying a lot that God would find a way for me to bring in finances or bring in some sort of income without having to leave my home but I don't have any gifts and I don't mean that in a bad way. I'm just I don't know how to sew etc. I'm not good with different things so I'm just really struggling on how I can do this. I thought about making beeswax candles but of course that all takes money to get started and we need a vehicle that we just cannot afford right now and so just keep us in your prayers I know that God will come through someway somehow and my husband I are just really butting heads right now because of the finances

Yes, I try to get myself to not feel overwhelmed by the daily tasks, but a new outlook, or a new perspective could really change thing's for the better. I really want to be a good disciple of Jesus, and embrace the gifts He's given to me! I love your video's! I've been going through them the past couple of day's. Beautiful video. God has really had to break me when it comes to slowing down and being content at home. It’s been quite a humbling experience. I pursued a college degree and have never been able to put it to use due to being a stay at home mom since I graduated. Society unfortunately pushes us to be “independent women who can do it all”. But I truly have grown to be so grateful because I know God has given me a life that I didn’t even know I needed. I don’t think I’d do well in the corporate strict world. 😅

I clicked on this so fast! I hate being home. We are in such a small apartment and we're a large family. We came from an apartment that was bigger than were we are now. We moved because we had a slumlord and we needed to get out. Whee we live now is small, dark, crowded because we have so many boxes and no where to put them. It's depressing quite honestly. I love natural light. The apartment we are in now, we can't really lift the shades because then people can see into our home, especially our bedroom. I am tired of running around though. Just yesterday i told my husband that i think i hate being a homemaker because I'm never home. I'm always running around and I'm exhausted. The boxes. We are greeted by the boxes. We have one dresser shared with my husband and I. We also have things in bins. There is so much. I was telling my husband that this is not where i thought we'd be. But here we are. And then it's getting cold. Oh man! Lord, help me please.

This is very convicting for me. I feel such chaos at home. My boys screaming, making messes. I just want peace and I try and train them but if feels like utter chaos 😩 yes physically I could declutter a bit more, and we have been living in pretty much a construction zone for 3 years as we remodel, I feel like it's more of a heart/spiritual issue. I just want a home of peace and not yelling (the boys not me) and constant correction for my young boys.

❤Thank you for your channel! I’ve been unsubscribing to channels which have become SHOPPING channels. Like you, the Lord spoke to me mightily in that area a while back and I’m just now updating my subs.😊. I love my wardrobe and my home and doesn’t need to change because I see something new being showcased. I’ve never been a fan of the shopping channels and now my you tubers have become just that! While I did keep two ladies who shop and I trust their reviews to be honest, I know how to find them if I’m looking to buy something new. I don’t wanna waste money or time buying things and then having to go back and return them when possible.😁💕 I’m also carnivore. I’m on Day 152 and was doing it temporarily but due to how AMAZING I feel, I decided this is my new lifestyle.❤. Long Covid has caused much pain throughout along with many other symptoms and being carnivore keeps symptoms under control. I worked outside of the home off and on throughout the years, but I have not worked outside of the home at all now for almost 20 years. I also raised my granddaughter Jayda for almost 4 years. All of my children are now out on their own, and my granddaughter is back with her mother, my daughter. I love love love being at home! I wouldn’t want it any other way!🙏❤️ I am now 60 years old. I'm curious your thoughts on what my specific home struggle is...... My kids are all little and FULL of wild boy energy. I constantly feel compelled to go somewhere so I can channel their energy elsewhere rather than it turning into chaos at home. When we stay home all day it just makes me feel like I can't even get much done because I'm trying to break up sibling fights or redirecting behavior that's gotten out of control. I wish I could find more peace with whole days at home but then again I don't know if it's wrong to take the kids somewhere in the morning....we still have lots of hours at home too 🤷♀️

Absolutely! I have high energy girls... one is older now but still likes to keep busy! And the youngest is nearly out of control. 😅 We do LOTS of outside time, we have specific days for specific outings/activities (like hiking), I include them in household tasks (cleaning, cooking, etc..), we limit screens and leave windows for forced times of boredom (= creativity). We also work consistently at family relationships-- maybe this will help shed some encouragement: kzbin.info/www/bejne/npKxg6uQjqmEf80 Praying that can be a help! BIG hugs, friend! XOXO

Ok so all this is wonderful except..... I was a stay at home mom for 45 years. Now at 65 my SS is only 500 a month. Please beware that as you are doing your mommy thing your retirement is going in the toilet. Was I happy being a stay at home mom??? Well not really. But now that my children are all grown and I have 17 grandchildren. All I wanted was to go travel. Just a van. Not expensive. Not overseas. Well. Stay at home moms with no retirement.....you get nothing

We don't save anything for retirement, personally. We have trusted the Lord as our provider since we went into ministry- haven't had a paycheck in over 5 years. Guess what? God provides! Always! I walk in the Lord's ways and trust in HIM! Not a retirement plan, His provisions! XO
