Nasal voice coming after mum septoplasty surgery, so is it velopharyngeal vpi&vpd Is it possible, please tell me

septoplasty surgery causes changes in the shape and diameter of the resonating vocal tract.This can lead to hypernasal speech.But it is temporary and can decrease with time.

Can this cause problems swallowing? I've had an endoscopy, manometry, barium swallow with no results. I've been having problems with the oropharyngeal phase of swallowing, pitching my food down. I can only east soft foods, nothing firm. Lately when I drink liquids, a little liquid splashes up the back of my nose causing a slight burn.

Hlo mam i was born cleft palate my first surgery was done at the age of 3 but still i have hypernasal speech problem ??? Can you please tell me about vpi is it surgery or speech therapy Please mam i am falling right now a depression i use sleeping bills some time i think i can sucide
