2020-2025 GMC Sierra HD Cab light and 3rd brake Light how to install

Appreciate this video. My 2022 has had issues with a leaky back window and after 3 times to the dealer the window is finally not leaking but the 3rd brake light no longer works and I think its time to just do the work myself since GM doesn't seem to have competent techs anymore.

I especially liked how you put all the tools and bolts directly on the trucks paint. 😂

not saying everyone should do that but if your careful and dont drag parts/tools across it then you should have no issues.

I appreciate your skill and knowledge, BUT why would anyone want or need to do this to their truck? Did I miss something in the intro that explains why this is necessary or desirable? I'm perfectly happy with the cab roof lights and top stoplight that came with my 2024 Silverado HD 2500. Are these legal in all 50 states? Thanks for sharing how its done.

A lot of people want to swap them due to the light being white and also instead of the cab lights being black and the 3rd brake light red they want them paint matched
