Some really breathtaking vistas and mountain streams. You really get out there!

Wow, those are some gorgeous sceneries. How long did this hike take you to get to Lyman Lake and how much weight is your pack? I'd love to plan a hike there for 2025.

My total moving time, out and back, was 12 hours, so figure 6 hours each way. I probably had about 40 pounds in my pack. Be prepared for the worst mosquito swarms ever at Lyman.

What was your impression of the campsites @11:45? I have a trip out there coming up and was planning on staying in the meadow the first night, but those spots look much cooler.

I would highly recommend staying at the 11:45 area, as opposed to the meadow. You will have glorious views of the valley, a stream and waterfall next to camp, and no bugs. Its an epic spot.
