2020: A Full Tour of Bloomingdale's at The SoNo Collection in Norwalk, CT

This store opened in November of 2019, about a month after the mall did. It is one of the newest Bloomingdale's in existence. This is a bit smaller than most Bloomingdale's, but it serves its purpose.
I accidentally activated the phone in the elevator. In my defense, that is a horrible place to put the phone button.

Nice store, although it honestly feels more like a Saks or Neiman Marcus than a Bloomie's. I still maintain that the design used for some of their stores in South Florida is my favorite. In case I haven't said it before, you should check them out if you ever find yourself in SoFla. (Although one of them might be on the chopping block, they've gradually shrunk the sales floor in recent years)

Yeah this is definitely a pretty mediocre Bloomingdale's. I could ALSO say the same thing about the more smaller "Macy's-replacement" store at Westfield South Shore. Speaking of which... How well is that store doing now? I've been hearing stories about Westfield South Shore not doing that well lately -- and it isn't really to do with the COVID-19 pandemic either. (Although I'm pretty sure it definitely did a blow to that mall when the pandemic struck.) Even though this NEW Bloomingdale's is "kinda" nice; I still like the older stores better -- like Walt Whitman and Mall at Short Hills-era.
