I am always impressed by Patrick’s knowledge about whichever Airstream he is describing. He knows all the facts and figures whether it’s the volume of the fresh water, grey or black water tanks or the various amps/voltage of the electrical outlets wherever they are hidden. He is able to hit all the right buttons without having to fiddle around to find the right spot to press. He does such a fantastic job without any BS. He certainly knows the product.

​@James Stewart Sure, real estate holds its value but in places where real estate rises quickly, the initial downpayment and cost of house are far higher than $225K. You cannot buy a garage in CA for less than $500K, minus the house. Just the garage. In 10 yrs this van will hold its value to $45K - $60K or might become a vintage sought after model selling over $100K. The house in a recession might lose value. The van will always sell even in a recession because people may need cheaper housing. Plus you get a car functionality with it. And a train ticket to go anywhere. Depends on a lot of variables here.

I'm glad airstream went wider. It gives us the space we need on the inside. I have to say they made some great choices but also some very rookie mistakes like: a dedicated beverage cabinet/spindle? No one is going to appreciate that bc it'll be unusable during transit and could've been used for something a lot more practical; lack of seamless extendable countertop; control panels in a place other than directly in front of the user. Hopefully they correct those minor errors and hopefully they come out with new floor plans to sleep 4-6 bc I could see that being my next RV with my growing family. What does the warranty look like? Hopefully better than 1 year like winnebago, coachman, thor, ect.

Nice floorplan, Love the sofa. Great size murphy bed. Great space and storage. Flooring a huge failure. I've seen these in other RVs; the dirt accumulates in all those little areas. So many other nicer floors available. Interior choices. Interior design choices. Need more options... other than shades of beige, grey, black. Even Tommy Bahama was quite Boring. Such as traditional, casual options - like Ralph Lauren. Check out the 30, 40-Year-old RV renovations, they don't want interiors that look like boats or space ships. Give customers decor options - classic airstream as you have here, traditional, or modern option. The sales will tell you what's working. The limited decor and flooring are 2 reasons we'll pass on this.

A folding plastic stepstool that stashes under the kitchen sink or in another interior cabinet when folded flat and tucked in a corner is the simple solution that can be easily used in this situation. It's not a deterrent at all for creative problem solvers...This coach is my Dream "Scout Ship" and my Dream "Mothership" is the Entegra Cornerstone 45B. Great job, Patrick!

We were headed out getting ready to go on vacation, as I was playing my ps4 game when I stumbled on to this vid. It sold me, showed the old lady, she loved it. We just going to purchase this and just drive 1600 miles to our vac spot out by the lake we just baught. where we have a fall time 10 bed 6 bath little cabin right off the beach. Just a little get away spot. We like to spend 2 or 3 days relaxing to get out of the metropolitan city scenery and the hustle and bustle.. thanks for the vid. Oh look Max is getting one to. Cool. You left one major aggravation point that you’ll have to deal with about every 700 miles. When you fill up your fuel you’ll have to reposition to refill the DEF tank when fueling at a truck stop. The DEF spout should be right next to the diesel spout like diesel tractor/trailers. Truck stops have a provision to refill the DEF tank after you refill the diesel. With the price tag you have the last thing you want to do is heft a jug of Def that you bought inside your fuel stop. That jug is at least twice the cost of what you can get through a hose beside the diesel pumps. I hope there’s a provision for installing more solar to minimize running the generator. Pretty much everything else fulfills the dream list. For areas that require tire chains how easy is it to put them on?

The technology it offers isn't exactly groundbreaking, and the level of quality of appliances, interior fittings, and overall decorating all appear to have been done by someone's wife who thinks she's a decorator! (She's sadly mistaken, IMHO!) A TESLA Powerwall storage battery or two, a few deployable solar panels, an induction cooktop, garbage disposal, instant hot water units for shower and sinks, and a combo micro/convection/steam oven (Miele makes a great one) would go a LONG way to upgrading the tech. An 18" dishwasher would make sense, too. As would a stacked washer/dryer (Again Miele or Bosch make the best...) Getting that propane tank off the rig and going fully electric would be safer, and ultimately less costly to operate, too. It's possible to have great interior design, comfort, durability, and STYLE too - which for $250k and up, should be a STANDARD feature, not an option!
