I put the same system plus the F1 sprint filter on mine and is a huge difference that bike is a beast. Congrats.

This is one of the best motorcycle youtube video ever. Just the chill of watching it and also humble personality. And your video also educational too. Thank you and stay cool 🤘🏿🤘🏿

I know that this video is a few years old now and I also know you sold your S1000RR but man I wish I could say it took me two hours to do this exhaust. I am right in the middle of it on day two. Getting old exhaust off was pretty simple, but trying to get the Akrapovic headers on the left side with the radiator hoses there is an absolute nightmare. It was simple getting factory ones off, but man I have no idea how I am going to get these new ones tighten down and I cannot even think about the springs at the moment. My spring tool isn't long enough to reach. I have no idea how you all did this but whatever magic it was, please send it my way!!!!!

@@CaliMotoTV So I was able to find a longer spring tool at Auto Zone, but no one in my local area carries that nifty Tight Wrench tool you used. I tried Home Depot, Lowe's, and Harbor Freight, none of them had anything even close. I am stuck at a stand still right now. Can get 3 of the 4 headers on. The third one in directly behind the radiator fan is absolutely horrific. I spent three hours last night trying to fit my hand in there in every which way to try and thread the bolts with no luck at all. I think my only option at this point is to drain the radiator and remove it and once install is complete fill it back up. Unfortunately, do not know how to do it under the vacuum system nor do I have the vacuum setup. I just could not justify spending 900-1100$ to have the dealer do this but now I am re-thinking that decision. Too late at this point, cannot stop now but need to figure out a solution to try and finish this up. Ugh.....anyone reading this in the Fresno area and has a nifty tool to help me out please let me know!!!

@@CaliMotoTV Believe it or not, I was actually able to finish the install. After taking a night off from working on the bike and coming back the next day with a fresh head on my shoulders I was able to finish threading and securing all the bolts on headers. I had to separate the oil cooler and radiator to get those two middle springs but was not too difficult. Tested for exhaust leaks this morning and took it out for a nice 90 min ride this evening once it cooled down. A whopping 116 here today. Thanks for the help and guidance. Sounds so good compared to the stock exhaust, complete night and day difference. I get my BrenTuning Flash on Monday, which will be a world of difference I am sure of. Thanks again!

Good luck bro..... I got mine done with BLOOD sweat and more BLOOD.... I ended up buying a car brake spring puller to do my springs because it's alot longer and it helped alot!!!...but getting to those bolts once everything is installed is a nightmare

Awesome vid!! I love your content. Wipe off the fingerprints before the initial engine start next time you install a titanium exhaust though! Especially on the can when you affixed the peg mount. Don’t wanna burn those puppies on and immortalize them

@@CaliMotoTV Got it, my apologies. Can't wait for the next video, I've been following religiously! You and Bogna keep it real, and it seems like you tell things how they are instead of sugar coating your comments about your new bike. Refreshing to say the least! Enjoy your bike

Hey man thanks!! If i have a full Akra exhaust on my S1000RR, and dont like the sound (bought it used with exhaust already installed) can i just replace the tail pipe pretty easily, and still get all the benefit? Makes sense that i should be able to do this pretty easily.....oh man i think you answered my question at around 11:15.

Sounds awesome good job. Any engine warning lights? I've seen in other videos, on cold start up the new bike's rev drop. It seems to be more pronounced once you put a full system on.

I have 2 questions. How long was install? Or if you didnt make a video how long would the install have taken? Did you remove the radiators or have to loosen them up?

@@CaliMotoTV thanks for getting back to me. Im going to be installing a titanium akra exhaust and akra gp can on my buddies 2020 S1000RR. From the looks of how much room there is between the radiator and exhaust itself. It looks like there is a good amount of room compared to the previous generation S1000RR's and S1000R's I did a few Austin Racing shorty and long cat delete exhausts on the previous generation bikes as well as Akra and Arrow full systems.. There was no way you were getting to the exhaust manifold without removing the radiators lol. My favorite exhaust to mount was the titanium Vandemon Undertail exhaust on my ducati 1299. Once the termi slipons were removed along with the stock exhaust pipes that wrapped under my tail section and the manifold. The remaining install of the vandemon was a breeze since you dont have to lift the subrame again because the exhaust heat shield doesnt mount under the tail section to the tail section. I will try to install the Akra on his 2020 S1000RR without removing the radiator. By the looks of it even though you said it was a pain in the butt to do it without removing the radiator. Compared to how close the radiator is to the previous gen S1000RR's which is a must to remove in order to install a full system. The 2020 RR seams easier with less plastic to remove as well as the radiators. Although the moment I feel it is a pain in the butt I will be taking your advice and remove the radiators. Thanks

Rockhead Bikes it’s been awhile but how did the install go? What’s issues did you have or better ways to do the install can you pass on? I should be getting my full exhaust next week and will install myself.

@@CaliMotoTV thank you!!... I have been having a hard time getting the ti system because apparently they changed the part number and updated the design of it so nobody had the original version in stock and all of them won't be getting the new version until the end of Sept is what I hear. Had to order the headers and pipe separately

I asked 650ib but he didnt reply, if you go with a full exhaust like this do you need to get a power commander or flash tune? Does the stock ECU compensate?
