Yes hand guards and wind shield help me. I used my DR650 for my commute for 2yrs. I went from off-road Mode to street mode. Change the sprockets out. Added some luggage. Rode unless it was raining super hard or snow. Great video! Now DR is back set-up for off-road again.

I was just talking to a buddy...I could see myself retiring out west so I could do some nice trail riding and back woods. There is just no great places like that to ride around my neck of the woods.

Great video again. You are great at doing these videos as your words are on point and clear at that. Owning XR also it is always nice seeing what you have to present.

These are very tempting! Might have to get some. Great video buddy and that sunrise! I've ordered a Purple Panda mic as my latest purchase. Should help with my audio. Finished the editing on the Tiger 900 Rally Pro today. Live at 630pm tomorrow.

My Purple Panda was great...until it shorted on me. I went with a powerdewise this go round. So far so good...I noticed the cable is slightly thicker on this mic...hoping it holds up a bit longer. I really like my PP...not sure if it got caught in my riding jacket zipper or if it just shorted on its own. The Tiger vlog was fire bro. Great stuff.

@@ThrottleBackRubberDown thank you buddy, I'm still working on it. Get so much wind noise and crackling. Not sure if I need a new helmet as well. I've just ordered an external mic adapter to record separate audio which should be cool. Love your videos too bro 🔥
@ThrottleBackRubberDown3 жыл бұрын
@@Revviews I have had a lot of success with my external recorder. It was an old Sony but it does the trick. The first time I used it my recording was trash. I had to play with a few settings as far as noise cut, recording sensitivity, etc. If you are interested I can get you the exact specs I use.

@@ThrottleBackRubberDown thats good to hear. Seems people only have trouble with the go pro mic adapter. Nuts as is costs £50! I've gone with the Tashcam DR-05X. Seen tests and when setup it should be quality. Just need to learn to sync the audio now.
@ThrottleBackRubberDown3 жыл бұрын
@@Revviews Yeah. Synching is really easy. I just usually yell check check check three times and all my cameras and mic. make clear audio spikes that I can line up. I then start the bike after so when I see that it is synched I have the bike start to ensure that it is bang on.

@@ThrottleBackRubberDown www.sportsbikeshop.co.uk/motorcycle_parts/content_prod/219379 I used these but I'm sure it's a us company so easily available for you, think there's a newer version now, don't bother with the batteries just use the included harness, I run mine through my coat, trust me I've rode in very bad UK weather with snow and had to turn them half way, if your grips are like the 2019 ones they are not fantastic

Hey bro. I just installed some handguard extensors also. Your video helped me confirm what i did. But i still wanted to see in comparison to yours. It felt a bit weird pushing handguards upwards in order to make the handlebar not hit the bike when it's turned. I guess it's normal. Basically, when I stand besides the bike now and look at the handguard, it doesn't point downward but it's horizontal to the ground. Is this the case with yours also? Thanks for your time. 🖐️
@ThrottleBackRubberDown3 жыл бұрын
Yeah. I had to adjust the left one a bit but wanted to for maximum wind protection. I didn't realize this until after the video or I would have said something. You definitely don't want it to whack the bike...it would leave a scuff for sure. But yeah, mine is the same way.
@veljkovic923 жыл бұрын
@@ThrottleBackRubberDown yes, that's why I ask, cause you didn't mention only that in the video. Thanks for the answer. Glad i fixed it good! 👍
@johnwandle3 жыл бұрын
Very good, but try not to make things too long winded, your audience will quickly lose interest. The first section of the video was not required, this would have been much more palatable if you had done the instal straight of ,then a short test afterwards. This is only my opinion, I own a 2020 xr , have a look at the Missenden flyer hes not hugely experienced but boy is he good and has a huge following in a very short time frame.
