Is the oem dash necessary for function? The aim was annoying me and i was trying to figure out why it wasnt mounted where the oem cluster was. says 2020 but the cluster is 2019? Analyzing while watching wondering how to remove weight.. is there a rule for cage height? Seems like it could be made much shorter but perception is tough from that angle. I think that's all the questions for now. haha

you have to run the OEM gauge cluster for the ECU to work unfortunately as far as the cage height it is kind of tall. the problem is in the two-seaters x3 you have to put the fuel cell underneath the driver and passenger seats so it raises the seat height so the cage is a little bit on the tall side. Yeah it's crazy I think the Baja 1000 is got to be the hardest race in the world it could be 36 hours straight. we have two sets of drivers and co-drivers though that switch off😎👍

I’ve done 1k in Baja 3 times in my RZR.......over an 8 day period😁. And that was tiring for this old man and wife.

Yes John The Navigator is looking at the GPS and doing the best to tell the driver how sharp the turns are coming up. It's a hard job but if you do it right it really helps a driver go faster😎👍

That device is called a Stella you can communicate with other cars around you the blue light means there's somebody behind us and he's asking to pass😎👍

We were like "imagine binge watching an onboard baja 1000 like a netflix series. 50 miles every few days during the week, couple hundred miles Saturday night after the kids go to bed. I watched the first video and so far the beginning of this one and my opinion, the navigator was not on top of things. Wasn’t ready for a fork in the road, and didn’t tell driver they where out of speed zone.
