Hello I was wondering why your comment section has been turned off I was really enjoying the John Deere video and I was impressed at how you went from forward to reverse without using a clutch and on the run how much weight difference is between the John Deere and the caterpillar 140 and the motor I'm curious thank you for your video and it sounds like you like the deer better than the cat why

No real reason, I am turning them back on actually.yes I think the JD is a more user friendly machine, better visibility, less sight restriction, the fingertip controls are well laid out and smart. The weight is supposed to be roughly the same I haven’t weighed the JD yet but our 140m3 is 42,000 lbs .

About the engine, you have missed info about torque. The most important on strength machine isn’t the the power but the torque.

How do you use inching peddle

I use it like a clutch. When doing fine work I’ll keep engine rpm’s are high and press foot on the inching pedal while machine is rolling forward to change moldboard angle and side shift and or articulate.
