If the air compressor develops a leak, what keeps the air in the tank? “The one-way check valve” You guys have the wrong answer for this question

What r the FEW exceptions the driver should NOT use parking brakes? I have not read about any exceptions in the CDL manual.

Several answers are wrong on many of theses videos. Too bad they didn't edit and perfect it prior to posting. And no exceptions to not using parking brakes here in Michigan as well.

this is at 17:52 - answer should be every time you leave your vehicle for any length of time.

The exceptions here in Illinois are: when the brakes are hot and when the road is slippery you must use chocks instead of the parking break.

Nah its 2. "Test Air Leakage Rate. With a fully-charged air system (typically 125 psi), turn off the engine, release the parking brake, and time the air pressure drop. The loss rate should be less than two psi in one minute for single vehicles and less than three psi in one minute for combination vehicles"

That question pertains to "static leakage rate" hence is 2psi. You're thinking of "applied leakage test" for that one 3psi is correct.

Something that worked for me, is reading the chapter on airbreaks before answering any questions, look at the diagrams and try to understands how the systems works altogether. By doing that, even if they change the questions a little bit, you'll be able to put the pieces together. Hope this helps.

General knowledge was somewhat easy the other videos on this channel did help with some questions definitely but like most tests theyre not all the same questions. So just as long as you have a general idea of most of this stuff you should be fine. I almost passed air brakes i was at 18 of 25 and had answered 6 wrong but hadnt really studied it. I took it to just see what i needed lol
