So, MSRP of 78,000 dollars for a just above base level suburban, or fully loaded Toyota Highlander with more features and capability for about half that? Makes my choice easy.

If your considering a Highlander you should be looking at a Traverse in Chevrolet Land as a Highlander has the same room and towing capabilities as our Traverse. The Suburban is a WAYYYY Bigger vehicle.
