@@Nderak we were also passing somebody. In AZ where we live, some people will do what ever it takes to not be passed. But then they slow way down again. So as long as it's safe to do so, we do whatever we have to to pass them. I hate drivers like that.

It wouldn’t be branded as a Chrysler Pacifica. It would have been more likely to be a dodge caravan. Usually Chrysler only makes cars that competes in the segment. Not completely destroying the competition.dodge being the more brand based on being the fastest, would be more obvious than Chrysler. Not saying it couldn’t happen but not as likely.

I own chrysler pacifica 2017 limited and mazda mpv 2004 AJ3.0 197hp with 4 speed automatic gearbox.. Dunno why but Mazda have speed limit that I was unable to reach, 180+km/h but in Pacifica there's some limit lol

What is the point to put v6 300hp in van and make max speed less then 180kph? For quick overtaking? So, maybe 2.0tdi with 180hp and ~400Nm looks more relevant then v6?

This car are use in city for short range, this is why better N/A engine and reserve HP and can use in low rpm = good consumption. Empty (just one person) Sharan 2016 2.0 tdi dsg 135 kw = 11l per 100 km in city and problems wit egr and massive carbonized engine for short ride. TDI is not answer for all, specially in city.

@@user-vt8rn2ld2g yes 11l per 100 km in city, this engine in dodge caravan in city spend about 12 l per 100km, and no problems with EGR and Turbo or Ad blue. DSG is useles in city and parking.

@@MagnusVenter369 it’s hard to believe that v6 287hp spends 12l in city. My friends have camry 3.5 and they spend 17-18l in moscow. And camry has less weight than van. So i guess the van with v6 spends around 20l in city and more with hi traffic. Dsg are different. Here in Russia we have problem with dq200 with dry clutch. It doesn’t love hi traffic and usually have died at 100k km Dq381 and dq500 are nice! Now in new Octavia a8 we have a 8speed aisin instead of dsg dq200 in octavia a7 And now octavia spend 1-1.5l (8-8,5 vs 7l) more gas than previous generation because dsg is much more economy and efficiently

Wenn es neuwagen ist da ist leider co2 sanktion wegen hohe co2 austoss. Am bestens 1 jahr alte auto und länger als 6 monate in USA oder kanada zugelassen war dann entfällt co2 steuer. Ich kann mal nachschauen was es mit import alles kostet.

Ich wage jetzt mal einen Vergleich. Mein VW Passat R36 mit über 400kg geringerem Gewicht und etwa der halben Stirnfläche mit (zugegebener Weise nur 6 Gängen) hatte 3650 RPM bei der gleichen Disziplin. Dies bedeutet weniger als die Hälfte der einwirkenden Massekräfte zwischen Kolben / Pleuel / Kurbelwelle bei identischer Geschwindigkeit zugunsten des Pacifica. Von daher geht der Wert wohl absolut in Ordnung. Ich glaub ich kauf mir so einen Pacifica obwohl die AWD Variante interessanter wäre, aber vermutlich nicht mehr in Europa angeboten werden wird ... sniff ;-(
