I recently found you channel and enjoy it. Spent almost 10 years working apples in the North Carolina foothills in the 80's. Spraying, mowing, loading, pruning & maintaining the equipment. Hard work but a lot of fun. I don't know much about small grains so it is interesting to watch and learn. Keep up the great work and videos. I really enjoy all the interaction between everyone.

Running 14 % 200 bushel corn in southern Iowa. 9550 is loving it. Man is ever dusty.By the way test weigh is 59 +.Beans didn't do so well.

We have been running our salford vertical tillage tool 24 hours a day. Those machines can really till under corn and bean residue. We still might chisel plow head lands and frozen ground if we run late into fall. But so far we finished soybeans and are on corn . We are planting 2000 acres of winter wheat this year. Nice video stay safe and farm on my friends !

Loving the channel!! This has become by far my favorite KZbin channel, no click bait or constant plugs and it’s also very informative & entertaining especially when Chet, Dougo & the Big Swede get going back & forth. I also appreciate that I can let the kids watch it without having to worry about questionable content. The kids really enjoy watching & learning about how things work on the farm. Now we really know who keeps things moving there, its Dougo. Keep it up Dougo. Skip the fuel trailer like all the others have and just get a good used oil truck. Holds 2500 gallons and pumps a lot faster. I know a couple farms that went that way and will never go back to small tanks again.

When we ran 6 machines, we parked every night in a row with augers out instead of in a column. then the fuel truck could drive behind the machines and fuel with less moving and less chance for hitting something.

At 16:30ish add a row of discs behind header to take care of the stalks maybe a couple in front of tracks/drive tires then a set in front of rear tires then a row behind the combine. It combines jobs so add tillage tractor to it’s JOB. If only it were that easy We had a L O N G towed cable behind the submarine so we added fish hooks you just didn’t want to be the junior guy that had to go out and retrieve the fish especially above a 1/3 bell
