I have the 2019 Pikes Peak. My 14th motorcycle since I was 16 (many years ago). I think people like me who have ridden extremely refined and ultra smooth motorcycles come to love the grunt and character of the new multistradas. they don't shift as smooth as BMW, they don't deliver power as smooth as Triumphs, but MAN, are they a 55 gallon drum of fun to ride! thank God for wheelie control, because you need it

Great review. I just purchased a 2019 PP. I got the full Termignoni exhaust. A beast and unreal sound. In touring mode you get full power but it eliminates the abrupt throttle off throttle. I stalled it once too. Lol

Good job. I ride both those bikes: a 2018 Multi 1260 Pikes Peak and a 2016 Monster 1200R. Totally different but equally fun.

This multistrada you tested, did it have the optional lowered seat on? You said your girl could reach the floor quite easily, isn't she 5ft6 ?

the price is too extreme. wheels and suspension great but the rest is i prefer the S model. surely a few carbon fiber bits wont cost that much :D with all respect to American rules i still cant get a motorcyclist has to sit behind the cars like a truck. only in America, the entire world don't have any line split or filtering rules for motorcycles. :D I just ask my self sometimes why America hate motorcycles ? i don't get it.

@@CaliMotoTV then why you ride the thing like a truck ? why you sitting on a back of a car ? you are clearly capable rider the entire idea of motorcycling is to not sit on traffic. it puzzled me thats why.

That’s my concern as well. The stock screen is awful on the 1260 and 1260s....

Have you ridden the BMW S1000XR? Be great to know your impressions. Just rode the 1260S Multi and loved it. Much nicer to ride than my Ninja 1000 SX ABS Tourer.
