The past few videos have been so fun. They are super current but have that vibe of when I first discovered in 2013ish. I appreciate that I’ve been watching you for so long and still feel like we see you authentic self and true opinion. 💕

Try plain old Nivea in the blue tin if you are very dry in the face. I have used this as my main moisturizer (I layer hyaluronic acid and other moisturizers underneath) for literally decades. Ever since I was 3 my mom used this on me. I'm 47 now, going on 48 and still use it night & day.

You should keep the beautiful L'Occitane bottle and buy the refill bags. That's what I do and the bags are easily recycled through Terracycle :) It's one of my fav shower oils as well.

Not too sure if they do this in the UK, but here in the US L'Occitane will take all finished containers, regardless if it's theirs or not, for recycling. They also have refills of their products so you can keep the bottles and just refill. Just a thought 😊 Also, love your channel, Fleur!

Hi Fleur, I recently changed to using a crystal for deodorant and it works extremely well, especially considering I usually need an anti-antiperspirant. There's no aluminium or other chemicals in it which can cause health issues, and one unit lasts about two years. You just apply it while still wet from the shower, or, you can just pop it under the tap and then apply. Just something for you to consider.

I used the Paula’s choice Calm Nourishing Cream facial cleanser and I love it! It takes off my make-up very easy. Now I have one from Vichy, but it hurts my eyes.. so I am curious about trying other products, without a cotton pad.

Could you do an updated hair routine video? I have very thick wavy hair and I have tried so. many. products, but no matter what shampoo, conditioner, and volumizing mouse, my hair always ends up looking so flat and straight on my head. Tips for fuller hair that lasts all day/hair routine/best products?

Nice to see affordable products in the mix. I also love L’Occitane but the Almond Oil Shower Gel for me doesn't give me the foam I like. However, it is great in the winter.

Loccitane is also a Terracycle partner, and if you take their empties in to the store you can get 10% off your next purchase (of the same product I believe, that's how I've been doing it). That's in Australia though, not sure if it's in the same in the UK.

Wow you look radiant! 😻 Been loving these recent uploads, Fleur! They have this old school vibe to them which I appreciate. I miss old KZbin days/videos... so this feels nostalgic for some reason. 😊 Beauty wise, I’m going to try some of the Madara products this month. It’s a Swiss brand of skincare and I’ve heard nothing but great things about it. The esthetician I worked with (for school) really recommended me this brand so I thought “why not try something new?”. Which isn’t always a great idea because your skin gets used to the regimen and if the products work, why change it? But sometimes you find something that works even better this way. We’ll see how that goes. 😆 Missed watching your videos, miss Fleur!!! 🥰😘

I also have a rather unfortunate ($$$) obsession with the L’Occitane almond shower oil 😣☺️ and I have also recently switched from the Pixi Glow cleansing gel to the Cerave SA. I find my skin is drier in the winter and the Cerave feels less drying. It’s also 1/4 of the price 🙃

Random question for Americans, but do you remember what Elvive used to be called in America because it definitely was not Elvive. I know for a fact because in New York there are still tons, of what they call chemists, that sell European versions of products and I remember the American version was there next to the European version and Elvive was the Euro name.

@stripyshoelaces5 жыл бұрын
Love your videos thanks Fleur - much prefer empties to ‘new in’ videos because you know someone has got through all the product! Also, just to mention because you talked about choosing products based on their packaging... if you are going to only use something once and then recycle (eg with terracycle which is awesome) it’s better to have a plastic container than glass. Glass takes waaay more energy (and therefore makes way more co2) to recycle than plastic. So unless you’re refilling your Sure glass deodorant multiple times, better to get one in a plastic container. There’s a super-helpful vlogbrothers video on this actually: kzbin.info/www/bejne/nWeXnaKggt6Njrs

Loved your video but Elvive? It's full of nasty stuff. Silicones, Parabens and Sulfates especially. Sulfates are really harsh when you have processed hair and itchy scalp. My dry flakey and itchy scalp is gone, since I use Low Poo and no Silicones in my products, maybe it is worth a try. 😊🤷🏻♀️
@amixeblu5 жыл бұрын
I have to use sulfates due to a scalp condition (seborrheic dermatitis). Everyone keeps being "on" me about using them. I can't go sulfate-free or CO-wash because it will flare my condition up in no time. And thank goodness, as the recent Devacurl (and who has forgotten about Wen) issue exposed. Cleansing your scalp really well is important!
