2020 Fall Tour and New Home Decor

Everything is just so what I would like my home to look like. I have several pieces made by SAUDER & they have held up well. My mom use to collect Fenton , before she passed she gave several pieces to me , I smile every time I look at them.

Beautiful. I grew up a couple of small towns away from Fenton Michigan where your glass is made, and I worked for Marriott Hotel call center, and One day I made reservations for Mrs. Fenton. She was on her way to Ohio to do a couple of spots on QVC. She was very nice on the phone. I also watch the Crazy lamp lady and Cole the Cornstar. You mentioned him the other day talking about Sunglasses. I think it is cool when a contributor watches the same thing I do. I like the Black Doors.

I always look forward. To your home tours. I have collected milk glass for q number of years. I use to pick it up at estate sales but haven't been to any since moving from NJ to SC. I have a number of silvercrest pieces and have a set of two small vases with blue instead of clear. I enjoy collecting the pieces of milk glass with lids, especially if they are on a pedestal.

love your decorating... on the coffee bar you had those 2 copper candlesticks tucked under the tiered stand.. I would keep one on the granite and one on the bottom bottom of the tiered stand and put 2 of those little pumpkins on them as pedestals

Everything is beautiful and gorgeous...even down to the deer heads..lol. I love the way you have pumpkins everywhere. I don't do Halloween either, so this is great right up to decorating for Christmas. Your home is welcoming and cozy....alot bc of you and Vinny, but your decor is a perfect reflection. I love the Fenton glass too. I used to live in WV where they had an outlet store in Flatwoods, WV. You may be able to look them up to find different pieces or get info about up and coming ones

Hi Maymay and Vinny! Well this tour was worth the wait, I love how your home looks. Even the parts that aren't quite me, because hearing your enthusiasm as you go over everything really shares that feeling of being so happy with your home. You have quite the collection of Silvercrest so far, congrats! One of my things is crackled glass. My grandma and I collected them before she died, and I love that I have some of her pieces...I love the connection from that as much as they are beautiful. One of my favorite things this tour? Those small "beaded" pumpkins you have here and there. I don't know what that texture is called so I call it beaded because it looks like hundreds of beads glued on lol...but my mother also collects those and I always associate them with cozy, pretty fall decoration. I also really like your ottomans, think that is the perfect solution for storage/seating/surface. I prefer summer weather the most; I hate being cold. But there is something so cozy and wonderful about the fall and winter decorating that I do look forward to. I was watching this on my tv, and it almost felt like I was a guest taking the tour right there with you. Thank you for sharing your home with us! Have a great week 👍🏻💖🌸
