I love Nick Chubb, got him last season and he was great! But Kareem Hunt is much better in the red zone and he will get those red zone attempts and will took a lot of the points from chubb! Thats my opinion. I would rather go for Kareem in mid rounds and if Chubb gots hurt early in the season you got a top 10 guy!!!

Here's my question.... " He will get those red zone attempts " - Where does it say anywhere that that's the case? It's all assumption, people still think this is Kareem Hunt from KC 2 years ago... Different situation, different team, different style... They don't just abandon the dude that almost lead the league in rushing. They don't do all they did to improve the OL to throw it to Hunt every 3rd down. They don't want to get to 3rd down in the first place... Chubb still gets 250+ carries

I usually have an idea of who I want going into every year. When you do that there are times when you're going to be forced to reach a little bit but at the end of the day it's about getting who you want. Last year Yahoo graded my draft a C because I "reached" for Lamar Jackson in the 7th. There was no way I was going to risk leaving the draft without him so I grabbed him a round earlier than he was usually going. Any plan is going to be better than no plan.

Hopefully your in a standard or 1/2 PPR league. You should target receivers with high upside... If they're still on the board: Kupp / Thielen in 4th and another WR in round 5... look for high volume/relative safety (no dynamic injury concerns)... so many factors to consider when drafting these rounds after going heavy RB... sometimes you gotta just go with the flow.

i don’t know if anyone else said this but i’m not too sure about cook and drake. i totally agree that if those players are on the top of their game they can win you leagues but if dalvin cook gets injured which he usually does and if drake has a rough game or 2 and arizona wants to try chase edmonds which has shown good production in limited visibility, then you may be at downside. or get edmonds later in the draft as a handcuff to drake

Everyone values qbs a little differently. I took him with the 2nd overall. Ive seen him fall but never out of the first round. It comes down to draft strategy for me. Id rather have him picked first then wait. I ended up with mahomes, chubb and godwin with my first 3 picks so I cant complain.

They are to an extent. Like pairing Henry with a back capable of catching passes to help kind of make up the difference for Henry getting little to none. if people are worried about Jacobs pass-catching upside why not pair him with one of the highest pass-catching wide receivers to offset it...

Last year I used a one QB strategy and streamed through the season with mixed results. This year, I am going to pair two later round QBs and hopefully dominate the QB position on most weeks. I have a few that I have flagged as good pairings, but none seem to be a better fit than Tom Brady and Cam Newton. What I like most about them is that they give me a pretty constant home-game scenario. I don't know how accurate this is since I have not really checked the data, but to me, QBs usually have better games when they are playing at home. Also, the start of each of their seasons' pairs very well together (Mia, Car, LV, LAC, Den, GB, @LV). Lastly, Cam is going to give me a safe floor with rushing TDs and a ground game. In contrast, Brady gives me the consistent passing endzone threat and maybe some 400 yard games that should provide me 20+ points per week with a reliable playoff schedule with Atlanta (in a dome), and Detroit (again, in a dome). One more thing... By pairing Julio Jones with Calvin Ridley, you can provide yourself with a reasonable amount of safety in case of an injury. Obviously, this isn't in the 2nd round, but if he is there in the 4th, I am lighting him up. I know that it is a bit unconventional having two WRs from the same team drafted that early. Still, I think that both of them will have great seasons and, I believe that if Julio Jones has an injury, I am not trying to figure out how I am going to replace production from WR1 since I already have my WR1 with Calvin Ridley. Then for my WR2, which is a lot easier to fill, I am just going to promote one of my backups to WR2 and go forward.

I wouldn't ever think it's a waste. So many times people get caught up in the format they play. All our videos are about player analysis so all of the information is out there to put into motion in their own scoring. There are like 413 ways of scoring these days and there's no way to break them all down. A lot of the information in this video can be used in any format. Grabbing RBs when possible, not forgetting the Top TEs, etc .. The videos and the draft guide will give you everything you need to know about the players. That's the important part. Was you know that your can determine the best for individual league. Now we will have STD cheat sheets in the guide soon but really.... There are only a handful of players that really move anywhere significant when you change formats.

dallasonfire604 Dude you can get a QB1 in the last rounds of your draft nearly every season. Last season the late round star was Lamar and while I don’t expect another MVP season out of the blue I do however see a surprise QB1 because the history has shown there’s always one. And besides that the difference in ppg between QBs is extremely minimal aside from guys like Mahomes and LJ and what’s even funnier is that Mahomes wasn’t even a top 5 QB last season in overall points or ppg and yet he was a round two pick while Dak was a later round pick and was a top 3 fantasy QB. Goes to show there’s zero reason to draft a QB that high when you can grab one late and load up on other positions with a more scarcity and lineup value. Learn before you speak. #LateRoundQB

Good stuff....I feel better about Gurley after watching this, but we all have our players that we just can't pull the trigger on. Gurley is that guy for me. It's not the injury risk, i question if he is still an elite back after injuries. Add some injury risk, and I'm out.

It should scare you A LOT less than grabbing a WR in the 2nd round tbh, one that by the time you’re on the clock will undoubtably be in a tier (points wise - total and per game) below the likes of Kelce or even Kittle. Pair that with the fact that viable WR options in fantasy are 6-7 rounds deep this season and I’m fading WR 9/10 times in the first 2 rounds.

Taking TE early puts you behind the rest of the draft, playing catch up. Sure, a Kelce/Kittle/Andrews puts you ahead of your opponent's TE on game day, but I think it's detrimental to take a TE or QB early

John Jacobs TE only puts you behind in the draft if you’re trying to catch up to how you usually draft. If you have a pre-conceived notion of which positions you’re going for in which rounds you’re probably behind the 8 ball to begin with. I usually grab 4 RBs with my first 5 picks, grabbing a low end WR1 in the process in either the 3rd or 4th round. If Kittle slides to me in the late 2nd/early 3rd, it means I’ll only be able to grab 3 RBs in my first 5 picks. I’m completely okay with that if it means having Kittle on my team lol

Hey Jake. Usually I tend to agree with most of what you say but these pairings are really different and in order to sell the WR/WR picks you need to at out the next 2 rounds. You guys did a WR/WR draft and it was tough to climb.out of it. I'm going to mock that a couple times and see how it goes. I just won't pick a WR first. I picked Davonte first last year and you have to k ow what you're doing. I think I like RB/TE better than WR/RB but I have to investigate that. I have tended to go RB/RB/WR and you are left without a real stud WR. That's kinda like why I like RB/TE/RB. That doesn't work if you have the back half of the first round. In a 12 team league if you have picks 7-12 you kinda have to go RB/RB or you will be really thin there I'm in a 10 team league and that makes it a little easier. Great conversations here Jake. I would switch Henry and Chubb. Mainly because Chubb still is gonna split the snaps with Odell Jarvis and Hooper. Henry has AJ Brown and Jonnu Smith. But both will have great seasons. I just prefer Henry
