I like La Belle, but I’ve worn it many times and no one notices it on me at all 🤷🏽‍♀️ I was sad because SO many people have said it is their “most complimented” I swear my skin just eats up most fragrances 😭

First of all, THANK YOU! I love perfume, and I never tire of; learning, listening smelling perfume. And YOU my dear are so easy to watch and listen to. With most vloggers (I think this is a vlog? But I am a dinosaur so who knows) I become exhausted of their dramatizations. You are wonderful. Your way of speaking and presenting are wonderful-the cadence and authenticity are just so easy to watch. Now, the reason I am emerging from the dark is this: what do you mean when you say a, "Vintage style fragrance." That Matthew Meleg sounds so delightful! And the perfume you described sounds delightful! But the, "Vintage," makes me wonder if I will come out smelling like an elderly. Will you please define it? Also, what is the name of the rose video? (I went through my pear obsession starting with Annick Goutal's Petite Cherie in 2011. I am now in ROSE. So, perfect timing, if only could find the thing.)

Hi there!! Vintage style to me means it smells like perfumes of old. Matthews Madeline Peach is his take on Guerlain Mitsouko which is an old perfume. So it smells like those old style fragrances but made with fresh and usually less allergenic ingredients. Guerlain still makes Mitsouko so you can still get fragrances like that but Matthew usually uses the older pre IRFA ingredients so they smell really authentic. What we remember our moms and grandmothers smelling like. I hope that helps! I think my rose video is just titled Rose perfumes in my collection. ❤️🥰🙏🏻

Have you ever tried Rose Essentielle by BVLGARI? It’s my favorite Rose perfume ever. Discontinued but relatively easy to find. The Rose Extase Absolu by Nina Ricci is my perfect gorgeous night-time Rose and Rose Essentielle is my daytime beauty. I think you will love it.

Really enjoying your vids ! I’ve never tried Rose Jam...would you say it’s comparable to Confit De Rose by Kyse ? I love the Kyse one but my body chemistry kills it after awhile 😦 Love the combination of Rose + jammy fruits ! You should try Love Potion Magickal Perfumerie one of these days. The owner, Mara, is a genius & they’re my fave for perfumes. She has sample sizes, too.

I find it a relation with In love again from YSL and, I don’t know why, with Jour d’Hermès absolu. No doubt because the 3 are from Jean Claude Elena ! You should try if already not... The dupe of Alien from Zara would be more like Gardenia. Violet blossom is more between Hypnotic poison and Poison girl according to the perfume reviews I've watched. You have convinced me for the Trussardi perfume, I feel that I am going to make a blind buy very soon 😉 Happy New Year's Eve to you and your lovely family and see you, with a lot of joy , next year 🍾🇫🇷🥂

I couldn’t agree more about Burberry London. I first purchased it in 2010 and it remains a favourite. I heard it was reformulated though and the new version isn’t as satisfying (isn’t that always the way?) so I’m dreading when the day comes that I have to rebuy it.

LOVE rose jam! They just dropped the UK body sprays on the US site. I got Mama Mia (smells like green sherbet to me) and winter garden (reminds me of Prada la femme- I smell tuberose and ylang ylang and powder). Have you given yog nog another try? It turns so creamy on my clothes once it rests, I love it. Happy almost new year! 🎊

I had a 30ml bottle of Burberry red for years unopened. I only got really into perfume this year so I opened it last month and to be fair at first I thought it had gone off (the rhubarb) and was ready to write it off untill the dry down 😍I wore it Christmas day!

Yes!! It doesn't smell like much in the bottle and when I got mine I thought the same thing, that it hadn't been stored properly and had gone off. The magic is definitely in the wearing and the dry down. I am so glad you have it!!

Hi Audra! I do have Dates Delight and it is a bit similar to Amberlicious but without the amber. Its mostly just sweet spiced dates in Dates Delight and Amberlicious is a really sweet, cinnamon amber.

Hi there! I wouldn’t classify it as middle eastern smelling fragrance but that’s just me. It’s more of just a dark rose but without being heavy. It’s a bit syrupy, a bit jammy maybe. 💗

Hi there! In my opinion no. The Armaf/TF is much heavier/spicier/stronger than Rose Absolue which is a dark, smooth almost jammy rose. ❤️
