2020 Ford Mustang EcoBoost Convertible - Full Review & Tour

I drove the 2020 Ford Mustang EcoBoost Convertible from National Rental for a week. Here is a review and my thoughts on the car. This is the 4 cylinder turbo version of the Mustang. It is still a sports car in essence, and tries to maintain its muscle by...pumping in fake sound through the cabin.

Nice video. I have a 2019 Ecoboost convertible with the 6 speed manual, much more fun than the automatic, but rentals are always automatics.

I really want this car but I have a 70lbs lab that would have to sit in the back. Just doesn’t seem dog friendly since it’s bucket seats.

best regular mustang ever lol, and i mean that. the old ones sucked big time. Especially the 99 model v6 and that chain driven 4 liter v6 was crap too lol.

Do u know how to change exhaust voice. I got 2020 convertible ecoboost and i drove with that good exhaust sound but idk i pressed some button or no. Now i am not getting the same voice and there is no Pony Tail button to change that sound. Can u please help me on this.

sitting in the back of these things is basically impossible lol... idk why just tweak the design a little bit to make the back seat bigger I doubt it would make that much of a difference

Savannah News not necessarily. Its just an upgrade you pay for. Premium trim doesn’t guarantee digital cluster.

The leg room seems the only situation.. Especially if you're tall.. Wouldn't leave alot of room.

Use 87, 91 or 93. Most power when you use 93, but runs fine on 87. Owners manual says to avoid 86 that is sold in higher elevations, pay for the next grade up.

Typically a RWD is tough in snow, but this has snow mode to keep power down

The slightly upgraded base model and the premium models have a wet/snow drive mode which helps improve traction in wet / snowy conditions. You can tell if the car has selectable drive modes if it has the several silver toggle switches at the bottom of the center console.

I have a 2004 Ford Mustang that I drove in the snow in Maryland, New York, and Ohio (states where I lived while it was my primary car - and it snowed every winter in each of those states) . . . and in Virginia where my parents have a country house, I have driven on dirt roads through up to 4" of snow without a problem (it helped that I really know the roads down there - and dirt/gravel can provide better traction re: ice than asphalt). So I never had a problem with the car in snow. Mud is a different story. Had to pull it off the road with a tractor once. That said, I wouldn't expect it to go through a foot of snow like a plow. I wouldn't expect that of any vehicle that didn't actually have a plow on it. Since I still have the 2004, I may weld a plow on it just for fun and see what happens next time I have the snowy opportunity . . . it isn't my daily driver anymore. My 2020 Mustang is :)
