A quick inside look at the 2020 Freightliner Cascadia. This is a low spec fleet equipped model. Auto shift, 2500 watt power inverter, built in fridge and microwave provision.

It is a crazy update compared to the 2016. Not as much cabinet space though.

Depends on how you or your company specc it out. Microwave fits nicely in that cubby, ours have either the upper bunk or shelf and cabinet depending on what the driver wants. We also have a swing arm to mount a flat screen TV against the passenger side wall. I comfortably put a 32" smart TV there. The shelf above the pullout drawer is perfect for a coffee maker. And you can fit one of those 3 drawer plastic cubby containers in the closet...perfect for clothes.

@@thenotoriousrvh6091 only thing I did was remove the round plastic foot pegs so it would sit more solid. It was a bit of a chore to get the pull strap to tighten up, i added a couple pieces of rubber pieces under the strap on the edges where the strap touches the top edges of the microwave.

You know what I did with my 2021 was put 2 cube irons with holes. I mounted them using the window screws. I used a step bit in a drill to bore the holes out so can fit the screws through. Then I got some bolts nuts and washers and mounted a tv mount to that and the tv shaped right in.

What are the measurements of the cubby and how big of a microwave can you put in it?

I haven't measured it. Put a $50 Walmart microwave in it. .07 cu ft I think.

@@thenotoriousrvh6091 ok, knlybwas asking because I'm hearing through some that a 1.2 cu ft 1000 watt unit will fit if the strap buckle is on the left side of the unit. I have the galanz 3.1 double door fridge and I went out and bought the matching microwave without having opening measurements under the word of some that say it will fit 👍

I don't think so. Ive looked at the inverters wiring and the only wires coming out of the inverter in my truck are going to a single 110V outlet in front of the bunk.

I'm happy about the auto. The way they have the trucks programmed with a 1600rpm rev limiter it's not like I was actually able to drive the 2016 the way I wanted to. Might as well be an auto.

I drive a 2005 freightliner day cab split 10 speed with a Mercedes Benz engine every day... lol

Those glove box doors above driver and passenger seat will mess up your face or head if you leave them open and move around the cab at night. The ladder sucks bigtime when shut down as a team ( multiple reasons). The refrigerator so close to the floor is lame. No ac in the cab when shut down and engine only idles 3 mins. As a company driver for 16 years this truck is the worst and ive done a million and half plus miles in at least 10 different trucks.

I hope you figured it out by now 😄. Sorry YT I'm not seeing all notifications. There is a switch on top of the inverter to cut it on. The dial for the fridge temp is upside down inside the top.

Yes I smoke. I was told years ago I should have a sinus surgery, just never think about it nor have time to take off work & etc.... As soon as warmer weather hits and I get back to cycling everything clears out. Funny what the lack of exercise can do to you.

@@thenotoriousrvh6091 i eliminated sugar, soda, candy, choclate, doughnuts ect. out of my diet and my sinuses have cleared up amazing. 40 years i suffered with stuffed runny sinuses. 1 month after sugar elimination,,, I CAN BREATH CLEARLY. Its awsome.

@@joepasco1420 years & years ago I was told I had a deviated septum. Just never had the surgery. As I'm getting older it's getting worse, think I'm going to have to get it done.
