2020 garbage truck birthday parade

Never underestimate the love and compassion in our community. Papillion Sanitation genuinely cares about the community and they work hard at their jobs without getting much credit in return. Since Fall of 2019 our son has become very close with the crew at Papillion Sanitation in Omaha Nebraska. In an effort to wish him a happy birthday (him and his twin sister turned 10 on March 30, 2020) they sent him a parade of 19 different trucks to send well wishes. Slight traffic jam on our street for a solid 11 minutes. Guys, these people have amazing hearts! Please. Thank them for the work they do if you see them. In a time when there is so much confusion and uncertainty, Papillion Sanitation is the ONLY thing that continues to go strong and be “the normal” for our son. He has autism, so having this “normal” every week means everything to him and that means everything to us! Stay well. 💙
