Blub63 no. The rock shock can’t. Hit honestly it is designed very well. I live in an area where it’s mostly cross country and I don’t find the bike does a lot of bobbing when peddling uphill. I lock out the front shock snd it climbs well.

Blub63 shocks are great. Front shock is rock shock 35 . Not the most advanced but super nice shock for the price point. I have ridden lots of Xc woth it and then headed over to B.C. And road pure down hill and bike park. I weight around 190 and haven’t bottomed my shock out at all.

@@zerovisdiver Is the 115mm rear suspension enough for rough trails?
@zerovisdiver
@zerovisdiver 3 жыл бұрын
@@NilabhUmredkar I would think so but I think part of it also depends on your handling. When the trail is moderately rough I only use the Mid setting on the rear shock, and when I am riding particularly rough trails I switch it to Open (or sometimes I just leave it to Mid because I prefer it to be a bit stiff). With that said I'm sure that it is more than enough, but ymmv.

@@zerovisdiver Thanks! I am so torn between the trance 29 2 and Reign 29 2. I think I’ll go for Trance as I heard that Reign would be a bit sluggish on long Bikepacking trips. I want a bike that can do both. Rough trails as well as Bikepacking trips.

@saveamerica5265
@saveamerica5265 3 жыл бұрын
We just found a large patch of woods behind a dog park and started building. Ik it’s not necessarily legal but the worst that could happen is they make us take it down and we could say we didn’t know 😂. I’m not encouraging this because our houses boarder the woods and no one ever goes back there or to the park so I doubt anyone would care as we’ve done this for nearly 3 years. If you do find a place watch Backyard Trail Builds. You can build a lot of sick things without buying any wood. What we do for drops is down trees with a chainsaw and cut it as flat as possible so we can put decking on then use more logs piled up and dig post holes with large branches to hold it. For decking we use free pallet wood that you can get from most lumber yards like home depot and flooring stores. Take them apart with a sawzall using an all purpose blade to cut the nails to save a lot of time. We’ve built a sick 7ft road gap this way. It’s a lot of fun to build the trails you ride.
