Great and fair review. I bought an Acadia a little while back after cross shopping with a few of the vehicles mentioned in the video. A few things to note. The push/pull button transmission is weird at first but after a few weeks you don't even think about it, and it's really nice to have the extra space where the lever used to be. The ride quality and comfort is amazing. This vehicle swallows miles like no other. Compared to something like the Palisade (also a great vehicle) it just feels more substantial and poised. It's downright serene. Coming from a Golf, I didn't find the buttons cheap feeling at all, with the exception of the manual sunshade for the sunroof which is either a fully open or closed proposition - not a huge fan of that, and I just wind up keeping the shade open the whole time. Also, the dimensions are perfect for a midsize SUV. Much easier to park and maneuver than the Palisade or Atlas, and not much of a sacrifice in terms of interior space either. A few words on the price. Yes it is up there. BUT you can get the GM dealer to discount it a fair bit with the various promotions going on, and get a decent financing rate too. So that eases the sting a bit. Keep up the great work with the reviews!

Thanks for the kind words! I’m glad the Acadia’s been treating you well thus far! I agree that there are incentives available, but I can’t cover them in the review since they fluctuate so much. Thanks again, and thanks for watching!

Several of my co-workers worked on that suspension system. Glad to say that a lot of the high tech features including safety related ones were developed at GM's Canadian Technical Center. We get a lot emails forwarded to us from dealerships in Canada and the US from customers thanking engineers for many of the safety features we developed. The back seat child warning system is the most most frequent one customers mention.

Thanks for giving us Canadian content and for talking about the ride quality in such detail. It's one of my biggest considerations when purchasing a vehicle!

Wow Dan, you sure have given SUV buyers pause to consider! Betcha someone looking at the Hyundai Palisade might now tryout the Acadia Denali, given the price point.

I love the Acadia and particularly this year model of 2020. But 50k+ for a GMC...? C'mon man. Even in Denali trim this vehicle isn't worth more than 40k tops.

Dear followers!! Don't let the beautiful pictures confuse you . Anyone who buys a new car from GENERAL Motors the chance you threw your money into the trash is very large. In this company there is no customer service, the company's management does not care at all, if you have a problem or a malfunction, you can only pray to God there is a chance that the help will come faster. GM is a very dangerous company, be careful and keep your money safe.!!!Share so more people don't get screwed.
