Is this a good truck for towing around 3000 pounds every day in landscape field?

I've got a truck like this in the elevation edition. Great truck and good fuel economy when it works. Truck has less than 6000 miles on it and the starter has been replaced along with the electric water pump.

Sorry to hear that. Not something which I hear very often. I hope your local shop has you back on the road!

I picked-up an 2.7 GMC Elevation 2020. Live in a dense city Miami, Fla. And i have to see clients, city driving is 75% of my driving. I'm averaging 18-19 city moderately driving with the a/c always on. I have managed on road trip to Tennessee 26 mpg's 77-78 mph 4 people and 150 lbs in bed.. I have managed 34 MPG YES on the way to Big Pine Key, Florida Keys @ 45-46. No wind issues dead calm. I have it on video have to get on here. Check my simple vid look up GMC Elevation 2.7 MPG's Miami . That's my first vid. Now Towing a boat from Key Largo, Fla to Miami 4500 lbs 14-15 mpg.. Remember people we are Flat land down here. Now i have had 21-22 Mpg Hwy with head winds of 10-12 mph. OK my experience with Gas Pump Test is always better in gas milage then what shows as mpg in pickup. I do manage 20-22 city here in Miami more outside the inner city. Managed 24 city when we had cooler nights and i opened up windows and A/C was off.

Kept saying completion base engine. If you go same displacement and forced induction, fords 2.7L blows this turd out of the water.
@CamsCars5 жыл бұрын
the 2.7 EcoBoost is not the base engine. it is a chargeable option to get that. the 3.3l v6 is the base engine. this engine is standard at no additional charge
@DieselMechanic305 жыл бұрын
Cameron Ernst still not impressed. Hard enough for some guys to go the ecoboost route because it’s a 6.. now GM is pushing a 4 cylinder. I see a ton of Honda owners looking for these engines in the future
@CamsCars5 жыл бұрын
I can understand that. This truck isnt built for max towing and power. It is a growing market for truck owners that dont need all of the power and use trucks as a daily commuters.
@DieselMechanic305 жыл бұрын
Cameron Ernst this Combination is like a Honda Ridgeline.. in my opinion. The Colorado or canyon has more capacity than this will. I wish someone would come out with a factory single turbo V8... now that’s would be awesome.
