I suppose this comes down to Maru trading his army for the fourth in the third game but RagnaroK had complete map control until both sides were maxed because of that. That is pretty awesome for the Zerg. With the amount of banes he had when Maru finally pushed out, RagnaroK could have probably won the game if he kept trading some ling/bane for the SCVs and planetary at Maru's 4th.

Maru 11-1 over some code S zerg, clearly he's just great (which is true). Dark 8-3 vs some terran "patch zerg!" There's just a big skill gap between the top 4-5 players and everyone else. That's it. No different from Broodwar at this point.

Terran players have been playing at a disadvantage for the past 4 years. Bio Terran is the hardest race to place and requires the most amount of micro, macro, multitasking, and multiprong attacks. As a result bio Terran players have become much better than their counterparts. Pretty much every Terran bio player from platinum 1 and up is better than Protoss and Zerg at equal MMR because they have to be. If you don’t play better than your opponent as bio Terran you simply lose. There are no lucky wins. I know there will be a lot of butthurt Zergs and Protoss in the comments but now that the game is balanced after Zerg and Protoss nerfs terrains are going to win everything. No longer does sitting back and making an imba A move army works at the pro level for tos and Zerg. It’s our time now. Learn to play noobs.
