English translation - Part 2 7:55 - I tried to go late game with Maru, but I just couldn't do it. Maru was too strong. How the hell did I stop upgrading my flying upgrade to 1!! Did I not upgrade? Seriously? Oh my god, I was so crap. I thought I had 3 3 for my Vikings. 8:07 - these freaking marines drove me nuts. How much damage they do? A lot. Really, really frustrating. They didn't even have much health! 8:28 - I had my movement was superior. So far I thought I was winning. I thought it was frustrating to see my BCs were taking a LONG time to destroy a Missile Turret but now I realised that I hadn't upgraded my flyer attack. How embarrassing! How could I forget to upgrade in the finals? It is just too embarrassing. 9:30 - Without these Turrets ... no, I don't think I could have won that even without Turrets as I didn't have the upgrade. 9:41 - Golden Wall - I won the series because of this map. Without this map, I could have dropped out of the tournament in the round of 16 or 8. I am the top when it comes to making strategic builds. But my best map in my career was the Empire of Sun in SC1. The second best map for me is this map, Golden Wall. 10:10 - Maru didn't know I was going for Banshee - if he knew, I would have lost. 10:28 - at this stage, I thought I had this game in the bag. But somehow, the situation got reversed. In some way, I don't like Golden Wall for this reason. Actually I don't dislike this map (LOL this guy haha!) 10:50 - Here I destroyed two of his CCs. Did I not destroy that flying CC? What!? I didn't get this? I thought I had destroyed it because it had 8 health or something. I couldn't check because I was getting attacked at home. 11:19 - Wow, the situation was the worst. 11:40 - I had a good trade there. 12:00 - Vikings are great at scouting. 12:43 - the game was a lot more specular than I thought when I was playing. I thought I was winning but it wasn't true (probably due to his misinformation on the CC). When you lose a game like this, you lose your mind. Not surprising Maru's spirit at this stage was quite low. 13:35 - Maru made a bit of mistake scanning instead of Mule. His concentration was low. 13:53 - did I make a mistake here? But at least I got two Medivacs out. 14:10 - here Maru lost a lot of marines. He had no marines, only tanks. 15:18 - but he didn't get my Medivacs. TvT is a battle of movement. I was above average in SC1 in TvT. 15:40 - Control is something I lack but I'm good at movement and positioning 15:58 - should I drop at his main? But I didn't. That's why I won.

One for English speaking fans 0:18 - I knew Maru would do proxy. I thought about going up or down for scout. For some reason, I felt going down more attractive. Whenever I play with Maru, he always does proxy in the opposite direction that I thought - quite frustrating. Because I scouted in the wrong direction, I lost 100 cancelling the CC. My start would have been much better if I hadn't lost that 100 - just a fraction of second late. 0:50 Maru always scans like a habit so I faked a bit and going mechanic to bionic. I really thought Maru was going mech - who builds three Cyclones without going mech? And I saw Maru going bionic and then went 'Huh?' 1:18 - who would have seen Maru's army and think he wasn't doing mech? It was a bit absurd that I got so much damage. 1:32 - Maru is doing what I was thinking about doing, but Maru got better of me and I got tricked. I never thought he would have prepared the same build! Marauder is more expensive than Marine but not as much damage. 1:52 - I believed in my upgrade advantage but Maru was too strong. 2:07 - I had never thought I would lose the first game and went to a bit of panic thinking I may not win a single game tonight. 2:21 - It was a real tough battle of control and Maru's control was just superb. Due to his shoulder injury, I was kinda hoping for a bit of crippled Maru and after seeing Maru's control, I knew I was in for a real tough time. 2:48 - When I realised that Maru was doing a Reaper build, so even though I didn't plan to build Banshees, but thought I would go for cloaked Banshees as I knew he would have a Raven in Maru's build order. 3:05 - It was strange because he didn't have too many units, and when his units came, I thought I screwed up. 3:23 - It looks like I damaged Maru quite a bit with my Banshee. How much did I do? Wow, I got a real good trade there. Looking at the game, without that Banshee, I would have lost for sure. He had a better timing for stim and going triple CCs. 3:46 - Seiging this place was a real winning move. Terran needs 8 gases for the end game, but I prevented Maru from achieving this. Therefore delaying his build-up of Ravens. 4:15 - that rock! Without the rock, I could have some chance but with that rock, marines often get slaughtered. Wow, Maru was spending so much to repair that CC. 4:33 - I was going for it even if the trade wasn't favourable as I had more resources. You must spend all your mineral - you can bank gas but not mineral. You need to spend it as soon as you can. 4:53 - Battle of Ravens. More Ravens you have, better chance of winning. 5:15 - I discounted the possibility of proxy - you can't think of every possibility, sometimes you just have to simplify. Special recommended me this build saying Medivacs first is good and it really paid off. 5:35 - I got the Raven with a lot of energy and it was a great move. TvT, Ravens rule. 6:20 - Ahh, Vikings were all following my Banshee! Oh my god, my Banshee put all his Vikings out of position? What a guy! 6:33 - And I wondered where Maru's units were and all thanks to my Banshee. I didn't know his Vikings were that far. 7:00 - in this map, Submarine, you can't let your guard down for a second. It is just too close to each other. 7:35 - Wow, I won this map due to that one Raven. I seriously didn't know how I won this map. To be continued in Part 2

엘리트스쿨리그 출신으로서 지금까지 온거는 정말 본인의 부단한 노력때문이 아닌가 싶어요......다전제에서 두 분다 날빌에 가까운 빌드를 만드는데 재능이 있는데 완성도면에서 전태양 선수가 좋아서 1세트는 무조건 전태양 선수의 전략이 통할거다 생각했는데 지는거 보고 오늘 준우승 하겠구나 싶었는데 우승해서 많이 놀랐습니다...... 언제까지 스2 플게이머 인생을 사실지 모르겠지만 하는데까지 하시길 바라겠고 그때까지 응원하고 또 플게이머 인생 그만두고 제2의 인생 선택하실때에도 응원하겠습니다 부모님께서 대견해하시겠어요....... 늘 자랑스럽고 대견한 아들 되시길 바랍니다~~~🍀🍀🍀🍀

Overal coments : I guess maru’s control (micro) better than me. However, I know how to win tvt since I’ve played so many tvt games from bw times. And I was good at tvt even from bw times. I’m better looking broad picture of game (macro), so I could win this series. +) getting more ravens def helps for winning tvt. (In bio meta) +) golden wall is my 2nd favorite map all of my progamer life. (13wins 1lose) +) In match6, I felt maru got lots of stress(pressure) from last match. And I was ahead from start, so I knew I win at the end.

+) match1 I never expected maru also alt to bio. (Because he got hells and cycs already) well played by Maru. However, I still think I could win, if I couldn’t make cc when maru did proxy reapers. (If I could save that 100 minerals from canceling cc.) That was huge. +) match3 Special told me medivac opening way better in this map. And that advice def works. thx to his advice. I could win that game. +) match4 I forgot to press air mech attack upgrade. I couldnt notice that even end of the game. So now I feel very embarrassd. I almost thought turret too op. Hence my BCs barely destroyed Maru’s turret. But it was all my fault.
