Well, Robert Patrick is the reason I switched from sport bikes to Harleys :)) Your reviews and Matt's solidified even more the thought, I finally picked up my 2020 Slim denim black. I can't get over the look of this bike. The most beautiful for sure! I'm 82nd Airborne veteran and this.......was definitely it! I sit in the garage at least an hour with a beer and admire all lines. I can't believe they don't make them anymore...Reviews like these make nonbelievers;)) switch :)) Thanks guys!!!

WWII Military looking bike, Yes! Gotta love the beefy, just plain coolness of this bike !!! Blacked out, but with the chrome accents, dull and polished, are pure goodness. Retro to the max. "100% to the Yes" on this model. "Then Came Bronson" 1969 TV series starring Michael Parks, should be remade today, with the character on one of these ! Michael rode a Sportster, drifting around the country in the episodes.

This is a bike with a massive following. I'd actually say it's probably one of Harley's top sellers. I'd love to see them come out with a 114 in it. I've done 60 000km on my 2018, and I'm still in love with this bike. Great video, and keep up the good work ✌✌✌.

I rode a handful of the Softails at a Harley Demo Event last year and I was pleasantly surprised how much I liked the Slim, the thing is just smooth & effortless, it has such a cool, classic look as well. I'd buy one if I was in the market!

The bike chooses you. Yes. I had shopped for several months trying to decide between a Sportster or a model like the Lowrider. As a severely short inseam individual at 5' and 26" inseam, fitment wasn't "easy" to say the least. Then, a friend decided to sell his 16 Slim S and I asked to see it. For that frame and my needs, it was THE bike. I'm now riding it with a LePera Solo Forward seat and good boots; the fitment is almost perfect. I may get pullback risers, but for the moment those are my only changes. 2016 Slim S - Olive Gold Denim...My first Harley.

Gorgeous presentation that's fitting for this super clean & classic model. Well done! The lead in ride and brief wrap model's imaging was refreshing with its moody, mountainous atmosphere. The look-arounds were fantastic with wonderful image stability despite the pavement regulars & irregularities. -Certainly looks like you two helped yourselves to the showroom's clothing line just before throwing a leg over - especially with notice of Matt's immaculate slacks and the two pairs of apparently virgin rider's boots. Sigh! If only we could keep ourselves and our bikes showroom fresh.

Welcome to the Slim family Nick! 👊🏼 I always said That my first H-D would be a Black Deluxe but you’re 💯% right Nick the bike chooses you!!!! When I finally went too get my first Harley in December of 2015 I walked into the show room and the first thing I saw was the all blacked out 16 Slim S. It’s was love at first sight!! Lol I couldn’t stop looking at it. I end up purchasing the 16 FLSS that night. And still today I absolutely Love my FLSS. But I got admit I wasn’t familiar with the Bobber Style so now it looks pretty much like a mini Street Glide lol because I put on so many add-ons for comfort for riding two up. Of many HD bikes I have owned which is too many to count, the Slim was one of the nicest looking bike. But back when I owned it I always felt like I was too big for it. Ended up selling to my buddy back in 2013. He still owns it and loves it I am only 5'11" 230 lbs.

I went on a group ride today with a few guys. One of them had this same bike and I fell in love with it. Normally I'm not that into modern Harley's, but there's something about this bike that drew me in. Now I want one. The only negative for me is the forward controls, just because I've never had a bike with forward controls so they feel a bit odd. I'm sure I'd get used to it though.

...love my '18...have never scrapped boards...complimented everytime i take it out...almost certainly named for slimmer rear tire, which with every other improvement, gives better/quicker handling...i have both 107 and 103, both stage 1's, the Slim runs a tick noisier/mech and physically rougher...the 103 (FLHXS), is smooth like a turbine, but does run noticeably hotter...

hey Matt Great videos... I'm getting ready to buy my first Harley , I'm also 64 years old. I have got a lot of inspiration and confidence from viewing your videos. Not to mention the information I have gained, Thanks. If I was 20, I would relocate and beg you for a job, you look to be a great guy to work for. Which brings me to my question. I am trying to decide between the (2021) Slim or a (2021) Heritage. I'm a new rider in the sense I have not rode a motorcycle in years, but road and owned bikes in my younger years. I started with a Honda SL 175 a Yamaha 360 (What a POS) and a Honda 350 "road bike"(pretty much a POS). I'm 5ft 10in 160lbs, looking mainly to start off just riding around the area locally, not hitting the freeway right away ( I live in Douglas County Oregon). Eventually doing a weekender now and then out of town. What ever help you can offer I greatly appreciate.

I've really enjoyed my 2016 FLSS. I still get comments everywhere I go about how great it looks, and with the stage 3 kit performance upgrade, it's as fast as I ever need it to be. I absolutely love the bike and doubt I'll ever part with it, even though it does scrape boards, like friggin always lol. I am super curious about the newer Harley's and how they perform though, so when my current payments end next year, I'm sure I'll find myself at a Harley dealership again before long. 😄 Thanks again, Ryan and Matt, for another great review.

I have a used '16 Slim I bought in '22, and I love it. I wouldn't mind one day upgrading to the '21 M8 Slim which was the final year it was made. It sucks that H-D canceled the model. I think that was a mistake.

Love the look of this bike. Not a big fan of spoke wheels even though my Heritage has them. Love the look of them just hate cleaning them. The handlebars and headlight are awesome on this bike. Really hits all the right marks with the looks. Only thing I would have to change right away is the seat. OK for short trips, but not for longer rides. Usually I am riding long periods when I ride.

Wow what a beautiful view with in the mist. Where was this video taken from 0:00 until 1:25? I was thinking to sell my sportster in order to buy the slim. I want to travel next year. I am tired of airplanes ;). Tour: From Germany - Austria - Italy Ancona Port - Ferry ship to port of Igoumenitsa Greece - Thessanloniki Greece - Tour through Greece and back again to Germany. Is the HD Slim a great bike for it, if I put a big saddle bag and windshield? Or is the Breakout great as well even thought it has smaller tank? Why is there no 114 cui option? Greece has a lot of mountain passages.
