2020 HAYABUSA!! (This thing is fast!)

Man, that is a great ride and description. It reflects the reality of how you normally use this type of bike and how easy it is to be cosy with it for a lot of hours every day, so easy, so comfy. I drove the Blue Ridge Parkway in a car back in 2016 as a tourist from Oz and all the way I was thinking I need my Gen2 Busa, while my wife was thinking, 'he needs his Gen2 Busa'. All the emotion aside, that is a beautiful place and perfect for the Busa - as you say, it is not the best track bike but it is so comfortable, powerful, capable and safe if you ride it properly and smoothly, perfect for the mountains and their sweepers, thank you Mr Roosevelt. I had a bad accident on my Gen1 only because it lacked ABS, which the Gen2 now has. Hence, I know it is relatively old tech but it is a great bike and fantastic value for what you still get, more than 20 years after the original tech was released. Nice one, thanks for reminding me of my two favourite things, the mountains there and my Gen2 back in Oz.

In the 70s I worked at Oconee Nuclear Station, and occasionally traveled SC-11. It was a great, scenic highway with virtually no traffic, and it seems to still be that way. I highly recommend it.

I have owned four Hayabusa’s A 99 04 08 and a 13 The GEN twos are twice the bike I see the GEN 3 is coming out going to wait A year in case it has bugs. I am fired up to ride one 🏍

LUUUUUV my Hayabusa, It's one of the few sportbikes I can fit on (I'm 6'9") Your rides are gonna get me through winter. Keep up the good work.

I was absolutely the same way I just felt that every sports bike I got on looked like a clown bike under me and they just never fit right, the Hayabusa has the handling, speed, and best of all comfort for taller riders at a a much better price point than the top liter bikes

Love the video. So chilled. I've had around 13 bikes in past 10 years and am coming to the conclusion that a Hayabusa may be the right bike for me: S1000RR and Fireblade felt too extreme for the road. FJR1300, K1300s etc had great engines but lfelt too heavy. The Busa obv has a strong engine, but the sporty handling combined with smoothness and touring ability are selling it to me. I'm sat here on a cold wet January in the UK wishing I could be in those mountains!..

I’ve ridden just about everything from the CBRs, to S1000rr, Panagali v4, Harleys and just about everything in between including BMW and Kawasaki sport touring bikes and this is by far my favorite bike. The combination of the size and power have really done it for me. At 6’4 fixing a sports bike that doesn’t feel like I’m riding a toy has been a challenge, I can easily do a 4-6 hour ride on the Hayabusa and get eight back on the next day. For me it was the perfect combination of sport and touring comfort. Hope you get some good weather out there and get yourself on one to try it out, you’ll definitely love it

What u think about the 3rd gen? Buddy is thinking bout getting one n lives in this area. He's a bigger guy n wants a comfortable bike. Im a bit farther past Cesars Head, Highlands NC. Ill deff bring the R1 over your way soon as its nice out.

Vibration in handlebars at all? I’m looking at the bmw s1000rr or the busa. The bmw does have slight vibration. Good video (If I may mention )since this view is about the bike, it would of been nice to see more views of the bike, especially when you stopped to check out the views, would of been nice to see the bike with views in background.

Going to be doing an extended review coming up and I’ll be sure to add in more shots of the bike, check out the mini review for some more shots of the bike and the conquer the gorge video has some great shots of the hayabusa from another view. As far as vibrations, the hayabusa is incredibly smooth I haven’t noticed anything like that in the handle bars even at very high speed

@@CrayzJohnny If I'm correct in assuming your talking abut the engine timer ie how much time is on the motor, factory tests, and then anyone at the dealer during set up who turned it on could add to the engine hours, What bike did you end up getting?
