The Dior refillable lipstick is a great release by Dior! Totally agree with u tat they should consider making refillables a permanent thing, more eco-friendly 👍

Got the Chanel duo le teint liquid lipstick 💋 perfect for these mask wearing seasons, especially when you dont wanna ruin your perfect holiday red lip (even if you're just wearing it around the house and only stepping out to pick up the kids from school 😂)

Great haul! I want to try those Shiseido matte lip sticks. For some reason I tend to ignore mini beauty sets/items. I picked up MAC's holiday face palette in deep and love it! I'm enjoying Charlotte Tilbury's holiday Bejeweled eye shadow palette. And I found her new Fire Rose eye shadow quad online. Also loving Pat McGraft's holiday eye shadow palette, brought one as a gift for my daughter. I love your makeup look!!

Ooh that's a nice haul Denise! I'm still eyeing the blue toned McGrath quad as well. It wasn't out when I ordered the large palette so I'm still considering it but can't quite justify buying SO much makeup this year end LOL!! The Shiseido lipsticks are beautiful! Totally worth a try if you like creamier-feeling mattes; the minis are just a nice way to check out a few colors at one shot before buying the full size. I don't know why I've not talked about them sooner! I don't think they generate any buzz around the lipsticks so everyone kinda forgets about them.

@@IamCandiceKC I checked and Sephora didn't have the mini set. I really like Shiseido beauty products. I put a Shiseido 513 Power Matte coral red lip stick one in my cart for the next upcoming sale. Love the new PMG labs Divinity Blue eye shadow quad! It's bomb!

I love Lisa lipsticks and have her very first collection. I have the gorgeous Velvet Dragon too. Sadly I think due to our humid weather in SG, her lipsticks start to break off after some time. It literally breaks into two. Broke my heart too.

Lisa's Velvet Fawn gets sold out so quickly! I love her reds, and was able to snag one of her lip kits in Muse/Velvet Muse (did I say Fawn? LOL wishful thinking, I'm getting that next if I get the chance) - I love the gloss formula. I have been eyeing the Dior 5 Color palettes for so long now, they look really beautiful, especially that Black Night one 😍

The becca palette looks pretty, however I won't spend that much money for only 5 shades 😂

Hahaha yeah it's meant as a cheek palette or all-over palette, not really an eye palette, so the pans are quite massive if you are not using all of them regularly as well. So totally agree it may only make sense to get it if you're gonna be using it more extensively.

How do you think Lisa's lipsticks compare to Gucci matte? I've eyeing Dragon too please swatch it soon!

The pigmentation level is similar but I find the Eldridge lipsticks are a bit more hydrating. One other plus for the Eldridge lipsticks is the lack of that strong floral fragrance which is in Gucci lipsticks, which a lot of people dislike. I would say the one area where the Guccis 100% win out is in the packaging hahaha. Those tubes are impeccably beautiful, I must say! I'll definitely try to get hold of Dragon if I'm in time when it's restocked! I'm not sure if that will happen anytime soon though.

I don't mind Lisa Eldridge's persona, none at all, I enjoy ..from time to time .. her videocontent.. still never in a million would I buy her lipsticks.. nothing of interest there.. her lippie ingredients.. at the top of those Inci-lists.. loads of silicones.. naw, I'm good.. I prefer Guerlain or Dior.. Eldridge, not a chance.

Totally understand. I think it's just the latest generation of trendy velvet lipsticks that try to have that very lightweight non-shiny feel, which traditional oil-heavy formulas cannot achieve. I guess it's more about whether your priority is the lip care component or in the color/texture performance!

@@IamCandiceKC For me the oils plus plant extracts etc .. and shinyness are superimportant in a lippie. I seldomly use a matte, but when I do, I go for a Lancôme, Ysl, etc. I like a lot of vegetable and fruit oils plus beeswax is a fave.

@@hampuss884 I know what you mean!! Even with most of us here having to wear a mask, the creamier formulas are still better on a daily basis. I can only wear the ultra mattes on special occasions for a few hours, and then I will switch out and let my lips recover the next day because my lips are quite dry and sensitive. I have a friend who ONLY wears mattes. If only my lips could tolerate that hahaha!
