2020 Hyundai Tucson SEL 1 Year Review

1 year and 5 months owning a 2019 Hyundai Tucson The plastic DOES scratch easily. Especially around the glove box, (or by the keyhole if on the Lower trims such as SE trim) Gas mileage on the 2.0 is a bit better but it is not the greatest on city Lane keep is responsive/aggressive Had 1 recall, which is now fixed Overall 8.7/10 for me

How much did you pay for it? How is it in the snow? Remote start? Looking into one

I think out the door I financed roughly 31k including a warranty. It handled ok in the snow but of course it’s front wheel drive. I do have remote start but it’s from the phone and not from the key

I purchased a 2021 Tucson , one of the safety features i like are the anti collision sensor as well of the 7 air bag on the interior, unfortunately i was in a accident which results in a total loss, believe it or not non of the airbags was deployed and the anti collision sensor in a medium sensitivity was not working as well. I would not recommend the brand at all. After inspection by Hyundai ingeniers they said that everything works normal lol even with the physical and obvious results. Please think twice before to decide to buy those brand. Also check the recalls that they have are a lot , and some of them related with safety features.👎🏻

How much is your car insurance for this? It sounds like you’re about the same age as me. Also what’s your mpg on highway driving alone?

Around 27-28 on highway going the actual calculation. My insurance is a little high since wrecking the Subaru. I’d say around 160

@@carguyeyedoc it’s not. The front end collision and safety features really help keep the cost of insurance down. I also drive gently. These engines are a bit thirsty on fuel. Keep that in mind. With it being FWD it helps a little. Excited to see that it got so much better with the 2022
