Nice review! Just watched and listened to this for the first time ever on 18 June 2024. I've owned a Jeep Wrangler Unlimited Rubicon (JK) since April 2012. It was a factory order; the dealer installed about $10,000 worth of add-ons to my Rubicon prior to my taking delivery of it. Some twelve years later, I have a little under 45,000 miles on it. I had it in Utah from April 2012 to February 2017 when I shipped it to the Island of Molokai. (I owned various Land Rovers, 88" and 109" "Series" vehicles from 1964 to 1993.) My Jeep has been vastly more reliable than any Land Rover (or Rover car) I've ever owned. The only part that's failed to date was the OEM navigation system. I've never had any oil leaks; never had a speedometer head or speedo cable break; I've never had a cracked exhaust manifold; I've never broken a rear half shaft; my Jeep's petrol V-6 does not lay a cloud of black smoke each time it starts up. Obviously, this means I'm speaking about my Jeep Wrangler Unlimited Rubicon rather than something made in Solihull during the British Leyland era! I've never driven my Jeep Wrangler coast to coast. This is something I did several times with Land Rovers--four cylinder petrol ones at that--while owning Land Rover vehicles. We had a 2014 Jeep Grand Cherokee Overland diesel. We sold that in January 2019 prior to moving from Utah to Hawaii. The Grand Cherokee, because of various emissions related issues with the EGR system, was far less reliable than my wife or I care to mention. Would I recommend the present (JL) generation Jeep Wrangler to someone in Great Britain? Absolutely! Both my wife and I are deeply impressed with our Jeep Wrangler. Andy McKane, 18 June 2024, Maunaloa, Molokai, Hawaii, USA.

The Brits complain about the left foot, but if you get one with the wheel on the side that it was intended to be on that is not a problem.

Nice to see it actually taken off road. Was parked outside my house for a couple days. Next time you're going off road, let me know I'll bring the defender 😂

I made the mistake of walking there recently. It was like a 4x4 M25 on a Sunday 👀 The man I think I am, would love one of those Grr. The man I actually am, would probably hate it 🤔 Needs more lights and decals 👍🏻

The key to open the hood is really fucking weird. Usually you just unlatch both sides and then push the latch.

Well done, It didn't roll over! 🥳 The doors are removable so you can jump out as it rolls over.

Sounds scary 😀 Not such an issue in the Dorking area luckily 👀 Just the odd muddy lane 🤓

That hasn’t really been an issue since the Cj-5 in the 80’s....

@@Wrangzilla What calendar do you have dude? Go look at the latest crash testing. This steaming pile of turd simply falls over.

@@CathodeRayNipplez Actually no. Wranglers haven't been prone to roll over since before the YJ was introduced. You can't expect to drive a high clearance vehicle like a sports sedan. Just like you can't judge a BMW m3 based on how well it handles hauling pallets of concrete.

Well I'll be crossing the rubicon off my Xmas list. Great review Tim. Sounds good off road, but can't see it battling its way through the trollies in Waitrose car park. Simon.
