Just received a Z400 today after purchasing it last Wednesday. It’s my first bike ever. And it handles very nicely and the clutch is not difficult to hold in.

For info, see the Rabid Hedgehog review of the Z400. This has been one of the least useful motorcycle reviews I have seen on KZbin. The first fact (very easy clutch) comes at the 3:10 mark. Everything prior is useless filler. Not my style. Advice, you have about 10 seconds to engage the viewer, so don't waste the first 30 seconds on your branding. Won't be subscribing.

how would you compare the 400 vs the 300? a little more faster? im short like hella short so for m ei couldnt even flat foot, i had to be in tippy toes. i had a 250 and a 300. now i want something bigger. i had a cbr 600 awsome bike but way way too tall for me. that one i had to rock it leaning in on one foot. dont even get me started how hard it was backing up on it

Being a newer rider and owning one for a while, I'd say very much yes. The twin engine will help you not stall and the riding position keeps you comfy but still letting you tuck in for some spirited riding. That engine is a very sweet one as well.

Z400 and ninja 400 are good enough to keep up. I think more power z650 or ninja 650 and still a fairly short seat height
@davidkoeppen31214 жыл бұрын
the z 400 would be a great first bike because she could still keep up and not feel the need to upgrade until her skills do. If she has decent previous experience then the z650 would be good. It's 60 lbs heavier than the 400. After over 30 years of riding I sold my big heavy bikes and bought a z400 for commuting and it's a blast. The 400 would really help a beginner work on their skills because it allows people to learn without paying a painful price. The price is very attractive as well.

Not just a starter bike. I've been riding all my life. I bought a new z400 5 months ago after researching KZbin and figuring what I was going to buy for the course of 2 years as I rebuilt my credit. I can assure you after all of the research that I did to purchase the Kawasaki z400, I was not disappointed I am not disappointed, and I would rebuy that bike again tomorrow. Put a Leo vent slip exhaust on it. Lose about 7 lb, add about a horsepower, and make it sound pretty nice. And it will do anything and everything you need it to do.

@@Bikerbug2020 I do like the looks slightly better, but having owned a ninja 400 before I know the engine has more than enough for me to comfortably ride on the crazy Georgia interstates that usually have traffic running 85mph. I'm just a little hesitant to get a smaller engine and have to wind it out even harder. If it was a second bike, id get it in a heartbeat, but since it is only about $300 cheaper around me than the Z40p, it makes the choice that much more difficult.
