I’ll go for coolray, it’s an awesome car and it look more upscale, no doubt about the quality and durability considering that it’s flatform an technology came from its sister company Volvo whereby geely now already owned Likewise Chinese made cars are now well known for being modern and sophisticated..

SELTOS still because of the simplicity of the car. yeah coolray was great because of the technology, but in my opinion its only for my daily use and i will not sleep or live inside my car. so the simplicity of seltos LX i preffered

Goods na sana .... It's also a CVT...IVT and for the people Willing to shell out upto 1.6m there's no -HUD - 10 inch Infotainment - Larger LCD Gauge Cluster - Bose Speakers - Engine / Transmission option - they even freakin removed the rear AC vents - Air purifier - 6 airbag - 360 Camera - Ventilated Seats and who knows what else has been watered down... Less Speced yet More Expensive.. Don't get me wrong I love it Drove my cousins Seltos for a month back in India and already Decided that I'm gonna get it here in the PH...but When I Saw the Specs And Price...I mean Geely is Even More Worth it.

Get a sedan or hatchback if driving and handling is your main focus. If you must have a crossover then go for a Mazda CX-30 or a CX-5.

They waited, which was the point Ocada was making and 20 years is a long time for Korean cars to be considered on par with competitors. I'm not trusting a new engine unless they give me a very good warranty, 5 years minimum before I even start to think about it.

Im satisfied with GEELY Coolray Comfort, it has all the very basic i need in a car. I'll save the 220k for gas and it will take me 60k to 70k kilometers of road for that amount 🤣🤣🤣 practical and a good taste of bit luxury 😎

Frankly theres no point buying kia lack of features and no resale value. Doon nalng ako sa moneys worth especially if extra car lng. Filipinos are becoming choosy na din they want tech just like cellphones

You're forgetting reliability, which Kia/Hyundai have built up. Also I wouldn't be too blinded by all that tech, once they break down, and they will eventually, it's gonna cost a lot to repair, not to mention how often the manufacturer updates the software on all that tech. Resale value only matters to people who plan on selling after 3 or 5 years. But then why would those people buy something they know won't retain its value? No those people will stick to what they know.

Time will tell. Korean vs. China made. A smart buyer will hold off an impulsive purchase of an unknown brand as against a time tested one. The Chinese car needs a couple of years to prove it's mettle in the PH market. But for now I'd go for reliability over all out specs.

Not so much these days. Things change fast in China. Recently I see more and more Chinese cars here in China, including the Geely models, and also more KIA and Hyundai. Japanese cars are still popular for those that can afford them, but unfortunately American car sales are falling, aside from some Buicks (which are actually international models, made in China, not the same as American models)
