It’s not a snorkel. Snorkels are considered water & airtight, therefore safe for water crossings. That rubbish that Toyota fit is in 5 pieces. When I went to remove & replace mine, the thru guard piping wasn’t even properly connected to the air box any longer. I’d advise against false advertising to prospective customers. Also you never opened the bonnet to show the engine bay!?!? Another bit of advice for prospective buyers, the tray & canopy design isn’t ideal. It leaves the twin spares being mounted out past the rear of the vehicle. 79 series is renowned for lifting wheels & rolling easily side to side for those unaware due to high centre of gravity & rear axle placement right behind the cab!! Nice vehicle but it’s gonna need some work!!
