I grew tired of the constant unboxings and the gross consuming of luxury because found myself becoming just like the content creators I was consuming. I wrote down every occasion I could possibly need a bag and then choose all the bags I wanted to keep in my collection and sold the rest. Then I added the bags I needed to the list and bought them. Then I put myself on a one year ban and unsubscribed to many content creators who have contributed to turning luxury into fast fashion via weekly unboxings and horde multiples due to a luxury addition. I’m allowing myself to have one bag a year. I have not bought anything since February but last weekend was the hardest. This is one of the best luxury handbag videos I’ve watched in years. Lovely collection, lovely presentation 💕 My only luxary brand bag today is the Louis Vuitton Pochette Assesoires that I got vintage before the trend blew up. Love it and have both a chain and a Leather strap so I can change it up. My Michael Kors TopZip jetset in black with gold is the perfect everyday bag to me. On my luxary wishlist: The Gucci Dionysus mini. Taupe or Blue blooms. So stunning bags!

Thank you so much for doing this. It was really enjoyable and it’s so helpful to see the bags you have had for years, the wear and tear review, how practical they are and how much you wear them. This timeline has reminded me when I subscribed to your channel. It was when you did the Chanel bag comparison. You had just bought the navy and gold Boy bag. Your channel was such a breath of fresh air at the time because back then so many KZbinrs had huge collections of LV monogram and little else. I am really looking forward to your contemporary collection and seeing your new briefcases. I am currently stalking a new laptop bag. The one I want is from the Australian brand, Oroton, and the price point for the quality is always really good with them. I am holding off for now though because I am going through a mock croc phase and all the bags in this line also come in mock croc. The laptop bag is a new release and only comes in saffiano leather so I am waiting to see if they release a mock croc version. That would be so pretty and different. I haven’t had the chance to wear most of my bags this year as in Melbourne we have been in total lockdown for most of the year and I am not allowed to go anywhere or see anybody. It’s getting very frustrating and depressing and there is no end in sight.

I have an emerald green Balenciaga Mini City with metal edge hardware. I also find that the green is easier to wear then blue bags. My favorite handbag is a Chloe Nano Hayley in olive green (eucalyptus) with a contrasting brown leather strap. I love me some suede and I love Chloe's boho vibe. My most worn handbag is my YSL Toy Loulou in light beige leather with silver hardware.

I thought you might like to know that the LV Girolata is still available from LV in Australia, in damier azur and mahina leather in three colours, black, galet and magnolia. We get the same stock as Europe rather than the US, so it may not be available in the US. I have certainly noticed stock differences before. But it does mean that they will be available on the preloved market internationally if anyone wants one.

Love your collection - particularly your SL and Chanel bags. SL will forever be one of my favourite brands for everything RTW, Bags etc - they make such classic bags and their price point is great. It is great to see the evolution of your style particularly as you don't sell much - I have sold nine bags since i've started purchasing luxury and whilst I dont regret selling it would be cool to still have them just to see how my taste has changed.

This was a fun video to watch! You have a beautiful collection. How do you keep your bags clean - especially the lighter colored ones? I have my eyes set on a YSL crossbody Lou. I tried carrying briefcases to work (for my laptop) but it felt heavy after a while and too bulky while navigating crowds in NYC. (crowded city life - Another reason why I avoid flap bags and prefer zippered handbags). I've been using a Tumi backpack. It was the best cute backpack that I could find..... "sigh".... I am quite curious to see what your selections are. Best wishes

I only have a few luxury bags. I have a Givenchy Antigona that I absolutely love, which I got pre-loved on Poshmark. Also have a Burberry Banner and a Burberry that has the haymarket print, both also from Poshmark. I also have a Cartier Shopper tote that I saw on Gossip Girl and wanted so badly and I was able to track one down a few years ago on The RealReal. The only bag I’ve ever paid full price for is my YSL College and I don’t regret that for a second. It’s by far my most used and I adore it. I’d love to add a LouLou to my collection and eventually a Chanel of course ♥️

Love your YSL handbags. The YSL Collage and the LV Pochette Metis are on my wishlist. I'm torn about the Pochette Metis due to the past quality issues, so I'm leaning more towards the Collage. I don't really get to wear handbags to work because I carry a Wenger backpack for all my tech and most of the larger bags like the Neverfull have such thin straps, so it just wouldn't be comfortable for me to carry on my commute. I also never seem to look at red handbags for some reason. I'm looking forward to seeing your future handbag choices. Are you planning to purchase a new coat this autumn/winter ? I'm considering splurging on a Sentaler coat :)

Buy preloved. You can probably get the bag you want for 1/3 retail price for BV if you’re patient. They are luxurious bags but the resale value for B V is nothing like Hermes or Chanel.
