The CX-3 is not a family car...period. It's for people who like smaller cars with the a slightly higher height for convenience. It's not for 6 footers either so check that off the list too. I bought the 2020 GT because it suits me..I'm 5' 6" and I like smaller cars and I'm single. I test drove the Mazda 3 and CX-30. Although they do have slightly updated interiors and infotainment systems, I still came back to the CX-3 for it's perfect size. I still think the CX-3 is much nicer looking than the CX-30 and the back of the Mazda 3 hatch is very difficult to get used too. Lucky for us Canadians, we still can get to choose the GT.

I purchased one for my 5'4" wife and l am 5'7", so roominess is not a problem. I don't see why idiots keep talking shit about these cars. If you are 6' tall with teenagers, you are also brain damaged if you would even look at one. Horses for courses. We have no kids at home anymore, so this is a great choice for us, and keeps my wife out of my 4x4.

I bought one and I love it. Plenty of room for me to put my groceries in the back and it's usually just my son, who is the passenger and is 6'3“ and we have no complaints whatsoever. I sold my Honda Civic, which is a rubbish car, and we couldn't be happier.
@metoo37734 жыл бұрын
@@kelvin869 I dont think you need to be brain damaged to buy one being over 6 feet. I am 6.2 and my dad is also 6.2 and we drive in the front seats and it is plenty of space. Sure the back seats may be cramped due to our driving position but 2 adults plus if people have kids or shorter ppl its fine.

My wife and I were looking at this one initially but eventually bought a CX-30 because it hits the sweet spot between the CX-3 and CX-5 providing both a good amount of space while not being too big. And it’s plenty powerful, too.

@@FamilyWheels nice !! Pretty much all the reviews i have read are positive on the Cx30 and we are very happy with it so far ,, For the $$ seems like you get alot sportiness, luxury,, tech and quality cant complain about our 1st Mazda , My only suggestion would be to offer a turbo the cx30 isnt a total dog but our VW Passat 2.0T was definitely snappier then the Cx30 but the Mazda has enough speed n quickness to get where u are going safely if u need to punch it occasionally in traffic , Look forward for your review

We live in Australia and owned a CX3 Akari which was the top of the range at the time. Loved the front half of the car..... the rear seat and lack of cargo space was a nightmare and really hard to live with over time. A simple grocery shop and you would struggle to fit it all in. The CX3 is just a small suv/cuv which is prefect for a young single or an older couple that only carry a passenger occasionally. We have owned a CX5 for the last 3 years and love it and find the extra room just right

If you live in North America and want a CX-3 the best advice is to buy one while you can. The CX-3 is a relatively popular model in markets where what Americans call "subcompact" crossovers are big sellers. But it's clear it was a placeholder in North America awaiting the somewhat larger CX-30. I suspect it will survive in international markets but will disappear from North America in the next model year or two.

I’ve had one for almost a year (2019 GS trim) and didn’t really like it. Yes, fun to drive, AWD and tons for features however I had to get rid of it as the vehicle felt too cramped in the rear and ltd cargo space and the rear torsion beams made it a harsher, bumpy and jarring ride going over bumps. For the price it wasn’t as practical and there are better choices like the Seltos (maybe). Test drove the CX30 and wasn’t really impressed with it coming from CX3 other than the nicer interior and more up to date look and slightly larger cargo area - but rear leg space was same as CX3! Ended up with a new 2019 6 that drove and handled better, better legroom, plus a more comfortable and quieter ride due to Independent rears. The 6 felt more like a luxury car vs the CX3...

You know it's the end of the line for the CX-3 with the CX-30 now available and the Mazda 3 being exactly the same price (also available with all-wheel drive). Mazda's lost interest in this vehicle. The CX-3 is not competitive in its class.

Thanks for watching and commenting! The CX-3's range, even for the AWD, tops 600 kilometres with its 6.9 or 7.4 L/100 km highway rating. US govt rating is 34 mpg with a 12.7 US gallon tank for more than 400 miles.

@@FamilyWheels true, but pails in comparison to a Crosstrek which can manage over 800km and an Outback which can push 900km. Audio interface gets some getting used to. Other than that, it is a solid ride.
