The engine is sadly pretty noisy between 2000 and 3000 rpm even when you lift the gas off. The noise itself is pretty buzzing/resonating which makes it unpleasant and you can hear it all the time on the highway because 120km/h is 2600rpm and 140km/h is 3000rpm.

Ich fahre den Mazda 3 mit X Motor und Allrad seit Ende Juli und bin extrem zufrieden. Im Vergleich zu einem 18OPS Turbo hat er keine Chance aber der Motor ist nicht als Sportmotor sondern als Sparmotor entwickelt worden. Als solcher ist er, in meinem Fall mit 6l, auch sehr gut und die Fahrleistungen reichen mir auch vollkommen aus. Ausstattung, Verarbeitung und Design sind für mich einfach spitze und für den Preis sucht man anderswo vergeblich nach Alternativen.

Ich habe mir auch den Mazda 3 Skyactiv X bestellt, nachdem ich ihn Probegefahren bin. Es ist einfach ein top Auto und ich finde die Leistung auch vollkommen ausreichend für den Alltag und vor allem für die Autobahn. Vor allem denke ich einfach auch, dass der Motor wesentlich robuster und langlebiger als so ein 1,5l Turbo ist. Leider bekomme ich ihn erst Anfang März :(

@@Andreas-yd8ve Das eine hat mit dem anderen nichts zu tun. Das eine ist die Art wie die Luft angesaugt wird und das andere wie der Kraftstoff eingespritzt wird. In dem Fall ist es ein Sauger mit Direkteinspritzung. Gibt aber auch Sauger mit Saugrohreinspritzung oder Turbomotoren mit Saugrohr- oder Direkteinspritzung. 😊

It has one major flaw - the engine is very audible between 2000 and 3000 rpm even if you're travelling at a steady speed. The noise is also quite buzzing/resonating which makes it very annoying. It is a problem because the competition is practically silent at that revs and 2-3k rpm is exactly what you get while travelling at 120-140km/h.

The engine noise could also be a bit quieter below 3000 rpm. It's pretty tiring becasue you can hear the engine buzzing pretty much all the time while travelling at 120-140km/h (it actually resonates more at 120 than 140).

Well, Mazda's hybrid is not a full hybrid. As an auto maker, you are allowed to market your cars as hybrid, even though most of them are mild hybrid (lowest level of hybrid). If a car is mild hybrid, it means that it is equipped with a little electric motor/generator that takes off some of the load on the battery and alternator. Basically, your starter and all of the other electrics on the car (lights, A/C etc.) are partially powered by that little generator, so you don't have to burn fuel to supply them. It's called hybrid, but it's not a true hybrid. It's just the cheapest trick to call your products hybrid.

They are easy to tune, I had a 2015 skyactiv g sport nav 165hp and the only difference was a remap to the ecu which was done at the factory as standard, there are many independent tuners that could do that for your car for not much money, it just needs the ecu tweaking it would only take an hour or so.

Super jealous you can get a Mazda3 with a Manual transmission. In my country Mazda only has the MX-5 if you wanted something with a manual. Good car, but impractical for a lot of people who wants a manual.

The auto is decent, but Mazda integrates excellent manuals. I'd never buy an auto in a Mazda hatch, why lose out on the fun of the great manual?

Ich habe den mit 122ps. Top Speed musst hättest du mit dem 5 Gang fahren müssen. Der 6 Gang ist zu schwach. Übrigens meiner fährt mit Mühe und Not 200kmh😅

I love Mazda and i love this car but one thing i don't like what I see here is 140kmh 6th gear 3000rpm. Wtf? Mazda 2 1.5 g90 is in 5th gear almost same like this Btw. You have automatic/sensor windshield wipers why do it yourself
