2020 Mercede-Benz GLC vs 2019 BMW X3 - In-Depth Comparison Review

BMW X3 is the vehicle we purchased. I really liked the GLC, which looks fantastic interior and exterior. BMW drives better, info system is easier to use and safety features more advanced. As for the cockpit display, they’re actually quite similar. BMW graphics are much sharper (HD quality) and it’s not even close including the middle display. Extreme bright day and night. I have no regrets on puchasing the BMW.

X3 all the way! Not to mention BMW X3 has a better/ more sporty aggressive look as opposed to the GLC that has the run of the mill soccer mom suv look

The X3 actually absorbs road imperfections significantly better than the GLC, and offers a more stable and solid ride quality. The GLC feels lighter to drive and does not give that glued together body feeling that the X3 does. The only area that the GLC is better than the X3 is its design.

Alex hmm.. as a passenger GLC offers more comfort and quiteness

The Glc is based on the c class, the x3 uses the same platform as the x5, 5 series and 7 series. The x3 is far more SUV like, and I've actually driven both. Unlike the creator of this video!

Informative video but it lacks hands on test drives from you, otherwise you are only conveying second hand information. As a potential buyer I am interested in learning more about reliablity, fuel economy, running costs... You could also mention the engine problems BMW has suffered througout the years, especially, which engines to avoid. For instance, 8 years ago I was about to purchase a new 335xi until I took that option off the table due to their issues (engines dying after 5000 miles). Now X3s have engines suffering from valve issues (this has been reported on numerous sites). GLC has been rated as among the 5 most reliable cars in the world but I appreciate the everything else the X3 has to offer (better ground clearance, bigger boot, better handling...) Currently considering X3, RX450h, GLC or even an older diesel ML (2015)

I don’t know where you heard the Mercedes has a higher quality interior then then bmw. Iv sat in both and the design and materials in the bmw are a lot nicer IMO

Well I like Bmw but I what I afraid is about plastic parts especially the part around coolant system which is not strong as the the metal. it leaks then fire possibly occurs. Just saw the news this model got fired while it is parking because of that.

Too bad the M-B only offers wood dash trim. It reminds me of an 80’s Buick minus the velour upholstery and opera windows. No thank you, I just can’t look at that every day.

Bmw may drive slightly better but in terms of tech Mercedes is miles ahead of the boring bmw plus the merc will hold its value along with better reliability way better than the BMW

I gave up trust, when I heard you day Mercedes has the highest quality and lead in field because they don’t at all, Mercedes actually comes bellow Audi and BMW in build quality and materials.

Pure Life : Mercedes does have a better build and material quality. The 7series BMW breaks often yet the E55 caries on!

I have a GLC and just rented a 3 series BMW for a few days. The BMW has significantly more plastic in the interior. I could count at least 5 panels that were plastic in the BMW, but MBTex in my Benz. Also, the buttons and window switches were plastic instead of aluminum. However, I will admit the BMW has a more smooth and quiet driving experience.

SKIIIEEEUP the GLC and 3 series don’t compete and you probably fooled by the Mercedes interior because what they do best is cover up their plastics by color, what you might think is silver on their button is actually plastic that’s a fact so your just mistaken.

It's Abit too unfair (in my opinion) if you compare a new 2020 Mercedes and old 2019 bmw. But it's not your fault. Bmw did not produse new x3. 👍👍👍
