Speedy recovery Julian. Just to add on... the picnic table in the boot actually capable of doubling up as a water resistant drop-in compartment when the centre is pushed downwards, useful for wet groceries shopping.

Just a minor correction; you can adjust the fan speed of the rear climate control with the turnable knob, only the temperature can't be set from the back

Will buy. When I have enough money. Julian, u really look like a towkay driver and passenger in it. 👏 Yes, this E class now is more ‘taut’ and has better driving dynamics than before. Comfort is a granted. Although it’s not the best looking car, looks abit fat I think, but definitely show your status in Singapore. 👍

So many types of Tow Kay cars within that price range. Nowadays unlike the past, Mercedes is not the default Tow Kay car as there are so many brands within that price range that offer better value and many buyers are using them as Tow Kay cars. Preference for saloon car had also diminished at the expense of popular premium SUV . In Germany , most e class are Taxi or airport limousine. You mean you telling us that those German drivers are very successful in life.?

There are many features which this review left out, like the self-parking function, auto rain sensor wipers, auto headlights, all-round cameras, collision sensors, blind spot sensor etc. I love the self parking most but there are limitations in the previous generation so I wonder if they have improved. The MBUX is the same except now it is a touchscreen. Personally I don’t like the towkay emblem because of risk of vandalism. For the aircon vents, I don’t understand why MB designers didn’t reuse the beautiful aerospace design of the previous model. The rear lights of the previous model are much nicer than this model’s. Personal opinion: technical improvements are minor but the aesthetic has dropped so one should consider buying a used previous model instead. Or look for dealers with remaining stock of the previous model.

287K SGD for this car from sgCarMart? So it must be 300K or more from the C&C! If you compared prices of same car with that of Europe or North America, you must be insane spending this much in SG…If you wanna show that you’ve got the money, then go buy a Bentley. After all the MB E200 is a common (ugly, for the new model) sight on our roads.
