Correct me if I’m wrong but I’m sure that a garbage truck isn’t luxurious and luxury car brands don’t make garbage trucks

yes but mercedes makes commercial vehicles such as vans trucks buses etc

there is a difference between Daimler car and Daimler Truck Mercedes isn't specifically a luxury brand they also have cheap models like E class C Class A class and B class but they also have Luxury Models Like Maybach and S Class and they also have sport division like AMG they also Have light trucks such as vans and pickups and heavy trucks like this one and they also have Buses Daimler is one company with divisions Daimler Truck Daimler Bus Daimler Car AMG Maybach Mercedes is the brand name but the company/ parent organization is Daimler which is a Group Daimler Group
