Door rattles, check. Comfy ride, check. Sophisticated look for less than 900k pesos for MT variant, check. Good aircon, check. BTW, u can adjust the height of the Cargo Space's floor to minimize the distance from the boot lip.

I feel bad that the review seems unfair, you keep saying "Nothing worth seeing.." noteworthy...etc etc..but again it is a car for the amount you have a lot already on it. If you want those additional features, get the more expensive ones. If you do not get it with the other ones, for paying more...then that is when you start saying things like that.

Your correct. I find his review a bit bias, yes his praising some points but his physical reaction and gesture is not jiving on what he was saying. His intro is a bit racist as well when he said was something like "ay MG lang pala I though Jaguar etc.

All this biases, copy cats assumptions are intentionally prejudice. Yeah you are right it is made in china and owned by Chinese SAIC and that where the prejudice conclusion came from. They say it is a copy cat from MAZda CX 3, cmon ZS is better looking than Mazda CX 3. And Mazda cx3 front grille is copied from SAFEGUARD.

His just giving his own opinion about the brand, theres nothing bad about it. Its technically a review so you as a reviewer you will give your own opinion on this particular product. Reviews are put out because people want some opinions from other people to know what are the pros and cons.

I have one. MG ZS AT style. 11 months. 18k mileage. All is good. Serves its purpose. Practical car. Bang for the buck. 2 free PMS. For 1 year. 5 years or 100kms warranty. Not bad for a small crossover. :)

@@tionging PMS parts are readily available. as to the others, such as door panels, bumpers etc. i have no idea since i have not encountered that specific need. Nonetheless, just like any other brand, such parts are order basis. so there would be some waiting time for the parts to arrive. But, when it comes to consumables, such as filters,oils etc. they can be provided immediately. :)

Thanks for the good review, although a year late. I was contemplating on buying this but instead opt for a Tucson A/T base model. But Nontheless, I think this MG is still a good option for those who likes a feature rich budget crossover vehicle.

We can upgrade our car's accessories and and creature comforts but we can never upgrade it's size, offcourse you need to buy a new car for that.

Cruise Control even on the mid-variant is a plus! The quality of the leather seats are even topnotch. The only downside is the aircon which struggles even in full temperature settings. Other than that, the car is really bang-for-the-buck.

How did you review a whole car and not mention the stereo and sound quality, backup camera? Power or Manual seats? You talked about the capacity in the back but didn’t show the if the back seats fold down for more longer items being transported. was ok video but seemed more like a personal feeling design critic then a full review

You also didn’t notice the hatch actually has a movable floor to fix your loading concern. It normally is in level mode with the hatch entrance. While you can then lower it to create a deeper floor So you called it an issue but it’s actually very versatile

Chinese quality workmanship of the car really shows in this video. Did anyone notice the moisture in the headlight on the early part of the video and the crack in the plastic air filter box at 12:30? Are those bubbles in rear windshield tint I see? Not impressed MG, not impressed.

Headlamps foggy issue, its also present in Japanese or Korean car makers. Aircon wise, its better than similar priced Toyotas in my experience.

Yes to be honest build quality when you get inside of ZS vs Toyota Rush, ZS is far better. Now a days because of these affordable yet full packed Chinese cars when you buy with branded car like Toyota etc, you would just buy the name.

We have been using toyota cars for over 20 years, in fact one of them, a 1998 revo is still being used by my dad until today and has no plans of letting it go. The reason? Reliabilty, parts availability and overall workmanship of their products.

I'm hella satisfied on how he was able to be a bit more direct on tackling major points about the ZS as he always was with his past reviews. How he critics some downsides and praises the good stuff on a vehicle, very clear and precise. Well the price of mg ZS increased. I think it supports that a lot do want to get or own this type of car. Got mine last month and the performance wise and style are superb! after sales support is 2 thumbs up!

Ive seen many videos of pure British owner of MG Zs alpha whether the first gen or the turbocharged, the hybrid ( N/A in phil). And they are amazed, and stunned esp the pricing. they are proud of it. They are aware that it was built in China and owned by China now. Why most filipinos lookdown on this badge now? Very nice review of the MG ZS :) Before the Geely Coolray came to the Philippines, the ZS was the first Chinese crossover game changer :) I still prefer the Coolray, but I'm very excited to see the ZS with a turbocharged engine (hopefully it will arrive in our country soon).

The reviewer did not use or activate the SPORT MODE. Sport Mode makes this cars engine alive and overall make it the best at 988k (Top of the line variant!)

I've been always skeptic on the ZS and this review is definitely an eye opener why true enthusiasts will think twice about this. The Coolray is definitely the better option, even the base variant that sits below 1M is already a much more enticing proposition. But then again, it'll always boil down to your personal preference.

I have driven my friend's ZS Style. I can say that the AC is struggling a bit even in full temperature settings. I think one of the factors are the leather seats.

For me, for daily driven car in the city and highway is pretty decent. If you had a previous car 2.0 engine and above you would really say under power.
