I’ve got a manual gearbox version,it has a lovely mechanical but slick change and it drives great,got the extra large screen and sunroof,all extras cost loads and bump up the price bmw style.

I'm getting the exclusive version of this in 5 days time. Enigmatic black with silver roof and mirror caps. 17 inch rail alloys and tan leather interior I find the interior of the sport version very dark n altho the black alloys look cool 1 stone chip and they will look ruined iv also gone with the 7 speed auto

Am from Northern Ireland. Really not good to have a Union Jack on car in some areas of Northern Ireland. Surprised at mini for not doing their research.

The car has only 189 bhp but 192 hp those figures are always different !

The Mini has 192 HP not BHP ,BHP is a different value and is always less than HP in this case 189 BHP

Brake horsepower (bhp) is the measure of an engine's horsepower (in this case 192 HP )before the loss in power caused by the gearbox, alternator, differential, water pump, and other auxiliary components such as power steering pump, muffled exhaust system, etc. What’s left is 189 BHP !

I bought the three cylinder version because it looks better, is more comfortable and the engine works fantastic. The front bumper on the four cylinder is too busy, the rear spoiler looks out of place and the seats on the four cylinder are overly bolstered. Save yourself some money and consider the three cylinder- it does not disappoint.

If you want a comfortable daily then yea 1.5 cooper is great but it's absolutely nowhere near the cooper S for performance and the 2L engines are much more solid and much more fun

@Brockside Yes, the 3 cylinder is lighter, more fun to drive, and more economical. Glad we agree on this.

@Brockside I drive the 3 cyl daily and get over 30MPG additionally, it can easily hit 65MPH and can keep up with any traffic. What more do you need? The 3 cyl is a very capable car. Bottom line - you will run out of driving skills long before you will run out of car.

@Brockside Since I don't race and the street speed limit is 65MPH...when exactly would I ever get to enjoy the capabilities of a 911 GT3? Last time I was on the highway every supercar was doing the same speed as me or worse, going slower so they don't attract attention and get a ticket.
