My employer's corporate motor pool has more than 24 Altimas (2017 through 2020). I have driven many miles in these. They work!

Nice review! I have this same car SR model in super black. Is that an aftermarket rear spoiler on your white tester?

If we buy the base model, can we still install the blind spot system later if needed?
@nissancarguy95794 жыл бұрын
I have been asked this question by one of my customers before. The answer was no before but now Nissan Dealers have received a kit for a Blind Spot System install. Now my first recommendation is to try and purchase the vehicle that comes equipped with the Blind Spot System installed from the manufacturer. It will be a lower cost item when it is equipped in the vehicle and is covered by the 3yr/36,000 mile warranty. If this is not an option for you and you have already purchased the vehicle, then there is an option for the install at a local dealership. Pricing may vary from location to location but I would suggest having it installed at a Nissan Dealership so you will not affect your current warranty and the newly installed equipment will come with an additional warranty in case you might need it. This is not a factory kit. It is an aftermarket kit. For my dealership pricing is $500.

I am confused should I buy top platinme or sr.......I am new driver
@nissancarguy95794 жыл бұрын
Great question. It really depends on your needs, wants and budget. I like to think of the SR as a more sportier version of the Altima. It will come with paddle shifters and a sport tuned suspension providing more road feel and better driver control. The SR will also have some exterior changes such as dark chrome grill, black mirror caps and charcoal under body diffuser. The Platinum is going to provide more luxury and technology. Leather, heated and power seats are standard on the Platinum. Intelligent Lane Intervention, Intelligent Around View Camera, Traffic Sign Recognition are just a few technologies available on the Platinum and not on the SR. The self driving Pro-Pilot Assist is also on the Platinum. Price difference between the 2 is almost $7,000 more for the Platinum. So it really comes down to you and your needs. Any other questions let me know. Thanks for watching!

@@dulin5751 why not go with the SL? Unless you want the VC-Turbo.

Go for at least the SV, plenty of features for the price (blind spot, a lot of safety features plus a sunroof)
