I have a older toyota highlander limited awd with 200k miles and it still drives and feels like a new car. I even take it off road. Nissan has gone to shit

OMG... Not only does it have a CVT, if that wasn't bad enough, it's a direct injection engine. 🤦🏻‍♂️ I hope it has the auxiliary fuel injectors at the back of the intake valves... If not.... Just another self-destruct GDI engine. The sheet metal is real nice though, brings it more in line with the rest of the line up. But for something starting at $19k... I'd rather spend my money on a Honda or Toyota. This is 100% an emotional purchase. It better come with a 200k mile drivetrain warranty 😂.

mecca unknown, That is the best styling any Sentra has ever had, IMO. Much sleeker than the current Corolla, trimmer than the Civic, and better proportioned than the Mazda3. I hope they have given as much attention to making the whole car durable and reliable as they have to the styling. (And, please, offer a sporty trim with a manual transmission.)

Had a 2012 versa with the CRAP cvt that Sentra uses, the cvt broke at 85k miles and the car was 8 years. And that my friend is my proof. It costed $4,000 to fix it so I junk it, since it was junk!

Bring back the 4 speed and 6 speed automatic transmissions, The CVT transmission is awful. Just because is decent gas mileage doesn't mean the quality is there. Being too cheap can cause major problems overtime. I rather have the older Sentra, Altima and Maxima from the 90's through mid 2000's because the build quality is there. Why throwaway money? Nissan has more than a money issue when it comes to the products they sale. They have a quality issue in general. I strongly don't recommend the CVT.
