We just took our 2021 Titan Pro4X on a 2193 mile vacation with a family of 4. The truck was fully loaded with vacation clothes, 2 packs of bottled water, 2 ice chests, 4 suitcases, snacks, beach gear, etc... We got 18.4 mpg and I used the 91 percent octane and I definitely could tell the difference going over Cajon Pass, The Grapevine, and Truckee summit California.

Nice review. I have a 18 Titan Pro4X and my only complaints were paint quality, no Android Auto and the 7 speed trans. I'm happy that at least two of the three have been addressed. Small lift, towing mirrors and better tires and the 2020 would be about perfect.

I got 18 also. Make sure you check for the engine knock. Paint quality sucks! I totally agree with you! I try to keep a good build up of wax on it. 7 speed trans is ok. I just wish it was a little smoother in the lower gears. I still think its great motor. Tows like a champ!

This truck is close Total MSRP $61,705 , Toyota Tundra TRD PRO spec out with more options than this for offroading and daily use is $51,000. Nissian is a full $10k more for what exactly? What drug are the fanboys posters taking on that would have them thinking this is cheaper than a Toyota Tundra TRD PRO or Even Toyota Tacoma TRD Pro which is $42k. That's 20k less than Nissan and it still beats it off road The TRD Sport Tacoma which matches this vehicle performance and shocks but has a v6 with a manual transmission option for $32k,! And when you spec it it still lacks locking differentials, proper off road shocks, suspension, full body skid plates, lift kit. True off road tires and rims. . Toyota sports a lifted suspension with a Fox shocks and reservoir system, skid plates, off-road tires and rims. more expensive than the Toyota Tundra TRD pro. It doesn't compete with the Tacoma. Since one is a v6 and one is a v8.

Wow so in Australia they’d bring it in and rebuild it to right hand drive then flog it as new for $150 grand calling it a bargain. The American pick ups are coming to oz, but are far out of reach for most families due to price, so we end up with sloppy seconds far to expensive or way over priced mid sized pick ups that could not pull the skin off a pudding.

I’m tempted to trade in my 2019 Ram 1500 Sport for one of these. I like the Ram but there are some things I’ve had issues with. I’ve got a bad door seal on drivers side, it isn’t as nice riding as my previous 2013 Toyota Tundra. But it is a joy to drive the 5.7 Hemi and 8 speed in the Ram is so smooth and so efficient. And it’s a quick truck! These Titans are pretty sweet though

It’s all the little things that a $50k truck you would think shouldn’t have with barely 10k km on it. I’ll see. I’d have to see what the trade in would be. @Joe Smith pass on the f150 I had an 18. They have a bad transmission problem they won't acknowledge. Many states have lawsuits open against them for the trans and lack of service on them. Mine started to shift rough and slip at 20k miles so I traded it for my titan.

Matias_V not the same guy but I’ve had a 2017 Forrester XT for a little over 2 years. The all wheel drive is great, I keep two sets of tires, one for winter and one for the other seasons. With some winter tires it’s a beast through the bad weather. Also the XT is fast, not fast fast but fast compared to cars I’ve had before. 0-60 in 6.3. The infotainment is dated for sure, I have the upgraded sound system and it sounds good. If you are over 6’ you will be uncomfortable in every seat except the driver seat due to limited adjustments. It has disappointing gas mileage at 23-24 mph average in combined driving. I would recommend the forester XT in the touring trim to others. I think if you are buying new though go with the new outback XT as they dropped the XT from the Forrester line.

That Nissan looks so outstanding than the F-150 raptor in terms of the technology. The Nissan has more safety features and an updated infotainment system than the raptor. The raptor has an old outdated infotainment system. The tundra looks so damn ugly especially in the interior 🤮. Also the tundra infotainment system is also outdated. And both the raptor and tundra are more expensive than the Nissan but the Nissan even though it’s cheap but it’s better than the raptor or tundra in terms of pricing, technology and safety features, and exterior and interior designs. So Nissan, ram, and GM trucks are better than Ford or Toyota full size trucks.

I have this trim in Titan XD. Got a great discount and rebate. Capability of the XD is much increased compared to the regular Titan. The downside is that XD is bigger and heavier so the regular Titan is better daily driver. But the XD can really tow comfortably, has much better payload, taller etc.

I feel like the American brands are so far ahead in terms in of full sized trucks compared to the Japanese brands. Not only are they nicer, more fuel efficient, and better to drive but also they can usually be found for $10k off sticker price. There's an argument to be made about the Tundra's reliability, but I think that you'd be fine in any of the offerings. That being said, I know I didn't buy my car because it was best in class and most practical for me. I just bought it because I like it. LOVE the new Titan Pro-4X inside and out. I especially like the steering column shifter, the steering wheel, the new entertainment center but they still lacking on the interior when compared to the F-150 or RAM 1500. Also, don't like the antiquated antenna, we're in 2020 for crying out loud! In my opinion it's a nice basic truck and the price should be lower to compete.

The one thing I can tell you that is a fail on Nissan part is the rear view through the rear view mirror. My 2006 Titan has that extra wide rear window opening, and when you look through the rear view, there are no black lines from the narrow rear window opening. Just a plain clear view. And I love my little outside storage compartment on the driver side rear. Nissan could have really made this truck special with those two little additions.

Nice to see a 120mph speedometer that reads in speeds most people go in these vehicles, as opposed to the ridiculous 140-160mph gauges that are common (even on economy cars) these days

ive had a titan for 11 years and love it.. the one and only complaint i have with this refresh, is the versions that have the tow mirrors (the only version i would buy), there is no option to auto fold them in, not even on the higher trim levels.. i know not huge, but it would be nice to not have to manually fold them in every time in a tight parking lot.. otherwsie love it and that will be my new truck in a year or two when can get a cheaper used one

Nissan Titan fan here💪 the only thing missing here that I need ..is the key ... I really hate that push button pls Nissan bring back a nice key no push button that's too girly in my opinion everything else I love it👍 great job!

I thought I'd miss my key too but I love not having to take out keys to get in to unlock to lock or to start my truck its really convenient tbh

Only down fall on this truck is fuel tank it suck towing it needs a 35 gallon tank so you can actually get 250 miles towing 7500lbs
