The 2020 Peugeot 3008 1.6T is now CKD (locally assembled) in Gurun, Kedah, and comes with some new features. It's now equipped with a powered tailgate, panoramic sunroof, and Blind Spot Monitor with Lane Keeping Assist.

I'm the owner of 3008 since 2017. Just follow the service schedule. No issue at all. Now the mileage is more than 100k km. A fun car to drive and practical.

The 3008 is lighter than the crv by 200 kg. + The Denso ecu can be tuned/remapped and can easily get 200+whp from the stock of 165hp. Depends on your tuner.

A great alternative to current soccer mom fav, Proton X70 and Honda CRV. Big fan of its looks. So many sleek details, even the chrome finish is very tasteful. The iCockpit is lavish af when I first enter the car, makes CRV interior looks like toy lol. The distinctive design and beautiful interior are definitely the biggest selling points of this thing. Pity only that it doesn't come with ADAS safety features. So close Peugeot 😅

It’s annoying Peugeot doesn’t update their model in Malaysia when there is a new generation in Europe. This 3008 is already replaced by a new version there. Their new 2008 might also find customers in Malaysia.

Peugeot is all about feeling when u closed ur eye... the emotion... some button might not be norm like others but after sometime u just known what u do with the fingers... example the cruise n speed limit stalk n the piano keys... once u understand them. U can just focus on road n let the fingers does their job

You don't actually have to keep pressing the START button until it starts, just press it for 1 second and release, it should start regardless you are pressing the button or not.

The short press is to switch on the ignition without starting the engine, to allow audio, instrument panel, 12v socket to be activated. Good feature actually.

Also check 508 and 308 second hand value. Then you'll know how much this car will be have resale value after 3 years

We have both forester and the Peugeot 5008, if you're into modification. There are lots of aftermarket parts for subaru, even for tuning you got ecutek. Peugeot's interior is suberpb, more on luxury side, while the forester is more on sporty. I tracked my forester sometimes, the boxer engine and the awd is perfect for weekend trackday + the supporting mods.

having sat in a brand new 3008 four months ago, i agree that the ride is firm yet not to the point of being uncomfortable. relatively quiet car but i'm still not convinced on the car's reliability. my friend's 3008 started to flash CHECK ENGINE light randomly after just two months and it's still not resolved by the workshop.

Stock is always boring 😅 we got 5008 and also own a forester. Not to mention our other cars. Fozzie got lots of aftermarket parts from Japan and US. Now it's a neck breaker, what I see from the Peugeot 3008/5008, it has a potential. And as in right now I'm thinking if I'll go with vossen VFS1 for the wheels of our 5008. The stock oem 18x 7.5 sucks!!

French has the taste for the "finest"..everything inside and outside are beautifully crafted, EXCEPT the handle to open the bonnet is a biggest Shame!. . either they are lazy , overlook or being a racist,,,make themselves a biggest joke OR Love is blind, , beautiful flaw.

ya can't agree more. imagine its raining and you have a breakdown, either you got to climb over to passenger seat or get down to open the bonnet. By the way, im the previous version of 3008's owner. Good car to drive and if you can get used to Pug, any Conti is just a peanut....I referring to the higher rate of parts failure that I encountered.

I think you've all been suckered into buying these stupid little engine cars with turbos in them. Max reliability is about 100-150km tops before you need a new turbo and all kinds of other stuff. Good luck tho.
